Samvel Tumanyan has been involved in sports for 12 years. That is why he boasts an almost perfect body and texture. Samvel is the champion of Ukraine in wrestling and combat sambo. He had to end his sports career after injuries. He underwent two major operations, after which he was no longer able to play sports. But sports discipline helped him to reach the final of the show.
Samvel had no modeling experience at all, but he showed himself well even at the beginning of autumn, which influenced the decisions of the judges.
Samvel Tumanyan appeared during the fashion show of designer Serge Smolin. Also, within the framework of the Ukrainian Fashion Week SS "18, Samvel presented a collection of the Ukrainian brand Komashnya.

On TNT, the show of the fourth season of the show "DANCES" has ended. For several months, fans of the program with bated breath followed the competitions of the participants and cheered for their favorites. Four strongest contestants reached the final - Yulia Gaffarova, Vitaly Ulivanov, Ildar Gainutdinov and Dima Bonchinche. They fell in love not only with the audience, but also with a strict jury.
The winner of the project was 28-year-old Vitaly Ulivanov from Miguel's team. A young man, born in the village of Seltso, Leningrad Region, tried several times to get into the show "DANCES" and participated in castings of different seasons. Only now Vitaly managed to reach the final test. StarHit learned from Ulivanov about the behind the scenes of the popular program.
What emotions did you experience on the eve of such a responsible day?
I was very worried before the final, but during the very final concert I suddenly felt calm and even light. The guys and I knew that the winner had already been decided and nothing could be changed, because the audience voting was over. So everyone relaxed and just danced.
How did your loved ones support you?
Family is my most reliable support. Relatives were very worried, they constantly called. Mom and dad came to concerts and, of course, were at the final. I am very glad that they shared this moment with me. Unfortunately, the sister could not attend, but she still tried to support. I wrote every hour, I received a bunch of messages ... Well, of course, the audience was also rooting for me, I received a lot of motivating and warm comments on social networks. I was approached not only from Russia, but also from abroad - from all over the Baltic States and even from Greece, Spain, Switzerland ...
Why did you decide to participate in the show? When did you start dancing?
I have been dancing for about 16 years. I started training when I was 12, and I'm not going to finish it, fortunately, there is progress. I decided to participate because I am a dancer, and the TNT show is the largest specialized dance project in our country. It seemed to me that it was better not to sit at home and watch the contestants on TV, but to participate myself.
What have you learned during your time on the show?
I'm sure I've gotten stronger. The project allowed me to rethink my life, and I changed a lot in myself. I also got a strong motivation, as well as the opportunity to see my mistakes and work on them.
What problems did you encounter?
I may seem overconfident, but I didn't have much difficulty. Yes, sometimes I didn’t sleep much, I came to rehearsal sleepy, and then I worked for eleven hours, I got bruises and bruises. But in general, everything went very cool and positive. Now I'm even sad that the project is over. I want to come back to the training room and put on new numbers, which is not only exciting, but also interesting. In fact, the biggest difficulty is to adapt to styles in which you do not dance - acrobatic rock and roll, contemporary, Argentine tango ... But you had to overcome yourself, what can you do. You can't just pick up and leave the project. As for psychological problems, there were no difficulties at all. By the way, we have a specialist who I have never approached. He even wondered why, and I laughed it off.
What kind of relationship do you have with the other members? Were there any disputes with the guys?
No, I consider myself a non-conflict person. Miguel generally had a very comfortable team, because he prefers to select not just cool dancers, but people who are close in spirit. Then, already in the process of work, Miguel created such an aura that we began to feel like one family - from the very first broadcast to the last. We became so close that I could no longer imagine my life without the other guys. Of course, Miguel also worked with us individually, developing his acting skills.
Would you like to work with a mentor?
Of course, because Miguel is an amazing person with a capital “H”. All the guys love him. Moreover, the mentor supported us beyond the project. Miguel was always with us and was present at training sessions, entertained, took us to his house so that we could rest and relax, arrange photo shoots and other events. As a mentor, he gave us a lot of information. I could always walk up to Miguel and say, "Let's talk." He even himself sometimes acted as the initiator of communication and offered to discuss the issue. You can say that Miguel became a second father to me.
Last Saturday, the brightest stars of the channel, including the brightest participants in the DANCES project - Yuliana Buholts, Anna Tikhaya and Dasha Rolik, gathered at a special TNT site as part of the VK Fest in St. Petersburg.
