Spiraling is manifested in the structure of the DNA molecule, the shape of a flower, a galaxy or a typhoon. In the human body, the spiral manifests itself in the structure of bones, organs, blood vessels, nerve fibers.
One of the most important tissues where there is a spiral pattern of construction is fascia. Fascia surrounds and connects into a single whole the muscular and skeletal system, as well as organs and neurovascular formations. Participating in many life processes, fascia, due to the redistribution of loads, local tension and compression, affects the state of blood flow, the passage of nerve impulses, the functioning of various organs and parts of the body.
Fascia has a particularly great influence on the condition of the spine. It is due to the pathological state of the fascia that the displacement of the vertebrae is retained, and neurological disorders appear. The work of the liver, intestines, heart also depends on the state of the fascial system.
From the standpoint of the energy structure of the body, the fascia on the physical level reflects the state of the Spiral Energetic System - the most significant subtle unit of the human body.
One of the unique properties of the spiral energy system is its close relationship through the fascia to the joints of the human physical body. By performing certain sequences of joint movements, we can influence the state of the spiral system, change the movement of energy flows, and balance the work of the structures associated with it. So, through the movements of the joints, it is possible to normalize the work of not only the spine, but also individual organs and even body systems.

All movements of spiral gymnastics are quite easy to learn and do not require special physical strength or flexibility when performing. Start small and increase the load gradually - this will be a good guarantee of your success.
If you look at any complex of spiral gymnastics proposed by Professor Pak Jae Woo, you will notice that all exercises are divided into four stages (stages) in each of which there are four complexes of four movements.
Each time, performing gymnastics, our body in a short time goes through the stages of birth, maintenance, transformation, reaches perfection, is renewed and restored. Moving from Neuto to Hetero, then to Homo, and completing Neutro with the form of movement, the triorigin pattern is repeated in one form or another in all stages and within the four movements of each complex.
Neito movement have a small amplitude, slowly, gently, smoothly, almost imperceptibly performed. Reflecting the qualities of Neito's strength, they are like a flower bud that is about to open, but has not yet decided on it. The bud is closed, but inside it, rippling on the surface, the gigantic power of the future birth boils.
Hetero movement- linear, have a large amplitude, fast, impetuous. Heterosexuals strive to escape from the source, to manifest themselves as much as possible. Glory, greatness, brightness - are reflected in Hetero movements.
homo movement- slow, directed in a circle. They seem to envelop, pull to the center, return to non-existence, to the dream of the Universe. Conservatism, unwillingness to change are present in them. But at the same time there is stability and certainty.
Neutro movement- movements of perfection. Their amplitude is maximum, but harmonious. There is no rush or slowness. Evenness, smoothness and strength - fill the neutral movement. Neutro's basic shape is a compromise between a line and a circle - a spiral shape. By launching the spiral energy network as much as possible, Neutro achieves the optimal functioning of the physical and energy levels of the body.
Of course, it is possible to perform spiral gymnastics without emphasizing internal philosophical principles, simply by learning and repeating the movements. This will also be effective, because regardless of our understanding, the right movements will work. However, if our consciousness is present in the exercises, if we understand what, how, why and why is done, then more subtle effects are connected to the physical effects - psycho-energetic ones.
In total, there are sixty-four movements in the basic complex of spiral gymnastics - four stages of sixteen movements each.
When mastering spiral gymnastics, it is advisable to start with learning the basic complex for the whole body. It will take several hours for an approximate mastery of the movements and a few more days for their consolidation.
If you perform at least four approaches of the complete basic complex per day, which will take from ten to fifteen minutes, depending on the pace of execution, within one week you can fully master the complex and feel a good result.
If, due to age or existing diseases, it is difficult for someone to perform the complex while standing (Hetero variant), there are options for performing spiral gymnastics in a sitting position (Homo variant) and lying down (Neuto variant) - which also give good healing effects.
When performing any form of spiral gymnastics, it is important to use only a comfortable range of motion, and if it is difficult to bend or unbend, only indicate these movements within the limits available to the body. This will not be a violation of the methodology, on the contrary, starting small, as the practice continues, the body acquires much greater capabilities, is filled with strength, and what seemed somewhat unrealistic at the beginning of classes becomes easily achievable after a few weeks.
In addition to the basic algorithms of spiral gymnastics described above, there are more simple methods twist gymnastics in eight directions and gymnastics of free (Neuto) movement.
Basic gymnastics complex.
SPIRAL (TWIST) GYMNASTICS IN STANDING POSITION.

We take three deep breaths and exhale.

2) Four Hetero-movements

B. The second stage (diagonal and rotational twist movements) - Hetero.
The diagonal movements of the second stage significantly exceed the exercises of the first stage in amplitude, while both the arms and the body twist in the same direction (as in the first stage).
1) Four Neuto movements
We begin the exercise by placing our hands horizontally at shoulder level.
The hands, and behind them the whole body, make a left twist, a right twist, then again a left twist and a right twist at the expense of “one, two, three, four.”
2) Four Hetero movements
Arms, head and torso make a left twist in the left-up direction, descend through the center-down position and make a right twist in the right-up direction. The form of movement is similar English letter V (tick). Movements are performed on the count of "five, six, seven, eight."
3) Four Homo movements
The arms, legs, torso are slightly bent and make a left twist in the lower left direction and a right twist in the lower right direction. Moving from position to position, the body unbends a little. 4) Four Neutro movements
Hands at the horizontal level move in the form of an infinity sign (horizontal figure eight) with a maximum amplitude. Hands follow parallel to each other from the beginning to the left, then to the right, changing the direction of the twist from left to right. B. The third stage (diagonal and rotational twist movements) - Homo.
The difference between the diagonal movements of the third stage is that when performing diagonal twist movements, the arms are twisted into opposite side in relation to the one into which the body is twisted (reverse twist). For example, when the body makes a left twist, both hands also go to the left, follow the body, but twist along their longitudinal axis to the right, performing a right twist. When the body makes a right twist, both hands facing to the right perform a left twist.

Arms, head and torso perform twisting movements in the right-upper-back and left-lower-front directions. At the same time, the hands, moving from the upper position to the lower one, change the direction of the twist twice: in the middle of the diagonal, the right twist changes to the left one, and at the end of the diagonal, the hands again perform the right twist. D. The fourth stage (circular and spiral movements) - Neutro.
In accordance with the qualities of Neutro, the movements of the fourth stage are performed smoothly, softly, with sufficient application of muscle strength, but without undue tension.
1) Four Neuto moves
Hands, moving parallel to each other, together with the body and head, perform two left-handed and two right-handed rotational twist movements counting "one, two, three, four."
2) Four Hetero-movements.

3) Four Homo movements

Starting to perform a complex of spiral gymnastics - do not rush. Let the first few days of exercise take five to ten minutes of your time. This is quite enough to wake up the muscles, begin to strengthen the joints, and normalize the tone of the vessels. Gradually, you will feel that you no longer want to sit and lie down, that the day is filled with sunny joyful activity, and the night is filled with healthy sleep, that your figure is returning to the desired ideal.
Try to perform the number of repetitions of the complex of spiral gymnastics, a multiple of four. Four, eight, twelve or sixteen sets are optimal for spiral gymnastics.
When performing exercises, do the first approach smoothly, softly, slowly, with moderate amplitude. Let your muscles wake up, your joints open up, and your heart tune in to physical activity. Do the second, third and fourth approaches more powerfully, with sufficient strength.
It is better to do spiral gymnastics in the morning or in the evening, but not immediately before bedtime.
For elderly, debilitated people, people suffering from arthritis, cardiovascular or neurological diseases, performing the usual standard complex of spiral gymnastics in a standing position can be difficult at first. In order to get a healing effect from gymnastics, it is possible to start exercises with complexes in the lying position, sitting, mini-complexes, or gymnastics in correspondence systems. After a few weeks (or months), having restored and strengthened the cardiovascular and musculoskeletal system, you can proceed to more active forms of exercise. Twist gymnastics with circular movements in the form of an infinity sign.
The complex of circular movements completely repeats the movements of standard linear gymnastics, while the hands describe the trajectory of the sign of infinity (horizontal figure eight), involving the rest of the body in this smooth, rounded movement. Therefore, we are trying to create such transparency in relationships so that we ourselves learn about it in time and so that the guys react correctly: they do not succumb to temptation, but fight it. There was a case when one of the former rehabilitators came to the holiday with a dose of the drug. He had withdrawal symptoms, and he brought this drug for himself. We were immediately struck by his fussiness and tension. And then, we decided to send the oldest patient to search the guest, and throw out what was brought.
REFERENCE
The Kazanskaya Bogoroditskaya Ploshchanskaya Monastery for men is located almost in the middle between Moscow and Kiev (438 km of the Kyiv highway), near Bryansk. — Father, what is the concept of rehabilitation in your monastery based on?
— The method of rehabilitation is based on changing behavior, changing the system of values and the formation of a new worldview. Therefore, we understand rehabilitation in our monastery not just as the return of our wards to normal human life, but first of all as the restoration of the image of God in them. And only then return them to the family and society. This happens through churching, through the acquisition of grace-filled ties between God and a person (and his family environment), between the church community and a person, between a clergyman and a person. I would especially like to emphasize that the restoration of a person, his spiritual growth begins with the awakening of interest in a new life. If this interest is not there, he will remain in his old world. The monastery is good because here a person is given an alternative. He sees that in addition to the world in which he has lived so far, there is another world, no worse, and he has the opportunity to choose. All this is offered to wards voluntarily, by personal example, in a benevolent spirit. talking scientific language, drug addiction is an addictive behavior and in order to get rid of drug addiction, you need to change a person’s behavior.
- What does rehabilitation consist of?
— Conventionally, it can be divided into three components — physical, mental and spiritual.
Physical includes:
- daily work - construction and landscape work, work in the barnyard, in gardens, in workshops;
a clear daily routine: getting up at ten minutes to seven, prayer, breakfast, work at eight, lunch and afternoon rest from 12-30 to 14, then work until six in the evening, then free time;
- unpretentious life: 3-5 people live in a room, amenities are on the street. wellness procedures: bathing in holy springs, in the lake, a bath (a bath is simply necessary, because it stimulates the metabolism - for some people who come for rehabilitation, it is so disturbed that the whole body is covered with boils), active games: ping-pong, occasionally football;

– When a young man first finds himself in a monastery, then during the first three months there is a process of his adaptation – he adapts to local conditions. Very often those who come here experience severe stress from unusual and unfamiliar surroundings. There is nothing surprising in this, many have never seen monasteries and monks in their lives, and in the church they were sometimes in a state of drug or alcohol intoxication.
If the beginner takes root, he begins to master the rules of behavior that are offered to him as a model. But he goes to church services from the first day, although no one forces him to do so. In the evening, two or three times a week, talks on the Gospel, the Law of God, the history of the Russian Orthodox Church. Confession and communion every 2-3 weeks. Unction every post. And although there is no rigid, cane discipline, control, of course, exists, but it does not burden. The wards need constant supervision, both during the day, and in their free time, and at night. Only then can they be brought to a confidential communication, the disclosure of their inner world.
For several days I had the opportunity to observe how the priest exercised this control. It seems that he knows about everything that happens in the monastery. And he always turns out to be at the right time in the right place to give good advice, help, suggest, take new job. And all this is done with love for the guys (the contingent of drug addicts is young people from 18 to 28 years old), with respect for their self-esteem.
One of the problems of drug addicts is to learn to simply enjoy life, without artificial stimulants. Monastery, rural life just gives this feeling of joy, because it is simple, without any bells and whistles and hesitation. Here, simpler relationships with others are formed, there are no intrigues, complex intricate moves. There is no need to survive here, you will not be eaten, this is a completely different world ... And the creative energy of the soul, directed in the world to survive, is released to create oneself, to change oneself, to find God. This creative work of one's own soul brings real joy to a person.
TRUST AND OPENNESS
— What is the role of the relationship with the confessor?
- The basis of the relationship with the confessor is the principle of trust and openness, this is agreed with the newly arrived drug addict at the first conversation. This is for his own good. When a person sees that he is trusted, his behavior becomes more responsible. If we see that a person begins to lie, we part with him.
Being open means not hiding anything, including your experiences. Otherwise, the priest will not notice how the ward will fall into a depressed state of mind, depression. A dull person is very difficult to stir up later. He can just pack up and leave without even thinking about the consequences...
At the same time, openness makes it possible to listen to others, to take their advice. That is, a drug addict must learn to live according to the right advice, and not according to some understanding of his own. On the advice of the person who leads him, guides him.
- What about human rights?
- Here the so-called "human rights" have nothing to do with it, since a dependent person cannot decide anything on his own. First, he is not used to making decisions. And secondly, he can gain this independence only through advice and dialogue. He must see the mechanism, how to reason, how to choose, how to resolve the situation, relationships, etc. These are, as it were, indicative lessons of their own reasoning. Man must fix internal dialogue with yourself, with your conscience, finally learn how to do it.
Thirdly, the doctor (namely, the priest plays this role in this case) never violates the freedom of choice of a person. His advice is not a dictate of someone's will, not coercion to indispensable fulfillment. You can not accept it, no one insists on it, but just what will come of it?
IVAN(names of those rehabilitated have been changed).
“... It was one of the most difficult cases encountered in the monastery. Ivan was 22 years old when his mother was warned that his son had 2-3 months to live. “He will die of melancholy, the deepest depression, nothing can bring him out of,” the doctors said. The depression began after the hospital, where the passion for the drug was suppressed by strong medications. The mother continued to give him pills, fearing that the son would return to the old one again. The young man was in complete prostration - glassy eyes, inhibited speech and thinking. He confused day and night, did not sleep for several months. On top of that, Ivan was not baptized. “What to do with him?” they were perplexed in the monastery. “To church in such a state? problematic."
For about two weeks, the abbot of the monastery himself, Fr. Sergius, trying to get out of this state. Then joined Fr. Diomede. “We prayed with him every evening during these painful months, and I remember his eyes, he tried to listen to his prayers,” recalls the priest. After a month in the monastery, Ivan wanted to be baptized. True, when it became clear that for further recovery, one also had to make one's own efforts, interest in Orthodoxy disappeared. “Everyone felt sorry for him and he used it. You won’t expect serious questions from him, but giggling, having fun is always welcome. ” It was just that frequent case when a person hid and did not want to grow further. He does not need advice and frank conversations with the confessor, he is fine as it is. The only thing missing is entertainment. After some time, Ivan began to behave quite freely, began to drink.
And after 8 months, Ivan was asked to "go out." Soon, rumors reached the monastery that Ivan had again "sat on the needle" and even dealt in drugs. He came to the monastery a couple more times, but did not stay long. And then... went to jail. He served three years. And he came out of there a completely changed person. “We were all very surprised by this,” recalls Fr. Diomede.- In his letter from prison, he asked everyone for forgiveness: “You treated me so well, and I treated you like a pig. You are the only people who unselfishly wished me well.” A miracle happened. In prison, Ivan's soul woke up from suffering. Now Ivan has completely abandoned drugs, he works, he intends to start a family. He became a church member, maintains contacts with the monastery, serious spiritual requests appeared.
- Why did a misfire happen with Ivan, what was done wrong?
“Everything was right, we did our best. But Ivan was not ready for repentance, for genuine and strong emotional experiences. But this is the only way for a drug addict to a normal life.
In order for a person to escape from the captivity of drug addiction (as well as from any other form of addiction that is harmful to the soul), his soul must grow, mature, strengthened in faith. Growing, the soul experiences the suffering of growth (which is associated with the rejection of the object of passion), because you have to break yourself, trample the sprouts of evil. But these sufferings must be realized, comprehended and turned towards the creation of oneself. Comprehension of suffering comes through repentance, through the labor of making one look at oneself critically. That is why, without repentance, suffering can cause bitterness in a person and a breakdown is inevitable.
We have had cases when a drug addict could just slam the door and leave. A person leaves and does not understand why. So the time has not yet come, there are no motives. He must mature for healing. If he was injected for 5-7 years, then it is impossible to get rid of addiction in a year without proper awareness. He leaves, but then, finding himself in a dead end, he begins to think: what did happen, what is he to blame for? And it comes back to us one, two, three times ... until this choice becomes conscious. Until he understands that salvation is in Orthodoxy. This can be compared to moving in a spiral. And with each circle he is getting closer and closer to the cherished goal. And we are patiently waiting for this decisive moment. 
Holy spring
MICHAEL
The first time he stayed in the Ploschanskaya desert for one year. “I came to faith here, in the monastery,” says Mikhail, “because I encountered a kind attitude from the priest that I had never known before. Batiushka, essentially a stranger to me, treated me like his son.” Michael left home inspired, having established himself in his victory over the disease. But two or three months passed and he was again attracted to drugs. Although he found a job, had a roof over his head, special life problems did not experience. But he went into the temple “only to light a candle when you walk by. And how to go to the liturgy - all sorts of obstacles arose. Michael came to the monastery for the second time. And two months later he was kicked out for drinking. That happens. Once, several people were asked to “go out” for drinking alcohol. Having darted through life and realizing that he had driven himself into a dead end, Mikhail again asked permission to return. The priest blessed him. It was for the third time that Michael's conscious visit to the monastery took place. How long he will stay here, he does not know, most likely another year. So far, there is no desire to return home. “There is such a void in my soul that needs to be filled with something, it is unbearable to live with it,” says Mikhail, “and here, in an Orthodox monastery, I am trying to find something that will fill it. I realized that I need to strengthen my faith, otherwise I will again and again return to drugs or alcohol. Mikhail is married with a 4-year-old child.
