A fantasy novel by Maria Semenova “Peace on the Road” tells the story of Volkodav, the last of the Gray Dogs. At first, Wolfhound thought that he would rather quickly do everything he intended, but the path was long. He met the companion Kan-Kendrat on a donkey, this is a wise and strong woman who became a teacher of the Wolfhound and was able to give him a lot of useful knowledge. Subsequently, the man will remember with gratitude more than once.
The second companion was a weak-bodied, but strong-willed son of a baker. In them Wolfhound made real friends, his family, which he so lacked. And if at first he wanted to do everything himself and alone, then gradually he began to realize that the world was not so cruel. Wolfhound realized that there are kind people who are ready to help.
Thanks to his friends, the Wolfhound has changed a little, and although it has become a little softer, he remembers his purpose day and night. He knows what duty and honor are, justice and help. He will not allow the innocent to suffer near him. He is a warrior, the last of the Gray Dogs, and he knows what he must do.
