What does your inner voice tell you? The man’s inner voice, that it is intuition, whether to listen to him.

Good afternoon, Svetlana Evgenievna,
My name is Peter, but I don’t want my name to be displayed somewhere on the site.
I am a visitor to your site. The first time I came to him was when I could no longer put up with my inner voice, which tormented me very much and in search of at least some help I started wandering around the sites and came across this site, read a couple of articles, found them very useful. I began to apply something, for a while the inner voice died down, but then again, even I would say with even more absurd absurdity, he began to drill in my head, giving me just absolutely some absurd arguments that I already gave up to him.
For example, he (a vile inner voice, it’s vile, because for some reason it only hurts me, it disproves everything that is useful to me, it simply horrifies everything ... I would like it to help me, of course) I start repeating affirmations (but, he doesn’t give me, I practically hear him, he says - WHERE DO YOU KNOW? this phrase arises on all my positive thoughts and it does not let me think as I want .. Suppose - I am charming , I'm confident, I make a favorable impression on people, Nothing it can’t happen to me, and then a voice comes in HOW DO YOU KNOW ???. BUT if, out of habit, I forget and start to think negatively, there it’s imagining how something will come upon me, the voice of a bitch, the creature is silent for some reason, but how just starting about the positive THAT HERE the rebuttal begins ... anger takes ..
And it can also give such arguments - YOU SHOULD NOT CHECK THIS or (if I tell myself I will do everything that doctors say and everything (doctors say Psychologists), but then the second phrase YOU ARE FOOL MEANS, IF YOU WILL BE STUPIDLY FOLLOWING SUCH RECOMMENDATIONS, IT MAY BE ALL FALSE, YOU MEAN A FOOL! And if I really tried some psychologist techniques on my own skin and everything worked out, then the voice in my head is ALL ILLISION!
But if I’m just thinking about something bad, then the voices are gone ...
They say that you need to think about something that is pleasant in the event of a dialogue or turn your attention to something else (to do business), but if you do this, then I step back and do not fight, that is, I don’t think positively (because there’s a voice) I’m not trying to convince myself of the positive (because there is a voice), I don’t pray to God (because there is also a voice) and so on, I retreat from everything trying to distract myself, but I want to defeat him and think about the positive, and not switch and ban myself think about the positive, here is some kind of dead end ..
I ask you to give me some good advice to help.
  Thank you in advance.
  Respectfully,
  Dmitry

Hello! We all talk to ourselves i.e. normal internal dialogue, and doubt the nature of man. Doubts help in uncertain situations from hasty actions. At some stage, you need to thank them - let them go - thanks, you sorted everything out, now I will act on my own. This method helps people in doubt. Affirmations are also usually effective. But you say a lot of work on yourself - for a while it helps and then worse. If it is difficult to help yourself, you need to contact a psychologist. In this mode, we don’t have the opportunity to discuss how long the voice has been heard, from what age, whether it interferes with work, how capable of work at this moment, after what events it occurred. The psychologist will talk with you about your childhood, most likely it will take some time to figure out the reasons for what is happening. I want to tell you that fighting yourself is not the way to go. Is it really easy to live in a state of struggle? No, it’s very hard. We need to love ourselves - even with shortcomings, to make friends with ourselves, because we are friends with others, but we are at war. Write a list - why do you not love yourself so much, why do you execute it like that? Think - does it deserve such a punishment, from prison and then come back! Forgive yourself for having offended and torturing yourself for so long. Now write a list of why you love yourself, for what others love and value you. It really seems easier for a person to find a sad outcome of events than brilliant and excellent. A very good book, maybe you read, Lilian Tu "internal Feng Shui," helps to make consciousness calm. - and this is a link to an article on this site "When I Loved Myself" by N. N. Leonova Charlie Chaplin’s poems about relationships with himself. It's the right way. Good luck to you.

I’m spinning side by side in bed, tired of the buzz of thoughts in my head, of an aimlessly lived day and tormented for a long time by insomnia ... A light breath takes away my consciousness, and shuts out the buzz of thoughts and. The long-awaited dream ...

Suddenly, at the most pacified moment, a very distinctly and suddenly male voice calls out my name and asks for something.

"BUT?! What?!"  - I jump up in horror. The body trembles, the heart jumps out of the chest. I don’t understand what is happening ... Sticky sweat stuck me to a wrinkled sheet.
This happens every night. Scared to go to bed. It is difficult to deliberately delay sleep time due to fear of sudden incomprehensible voices. Scares, annoying, haunting.

Feeling of insanity

I was one of those who are able to "communicate with people" without opening their mouths. Not even the presence of the interlocutors themselves is necessary. I talked to them in my head. Sometimes they spoke without my “invitation”.

I had the “ability” to play music, not including it in real mode. She is in my head. The classic circles in a big swing, the rock yells and rumbles. The chaotic mixing of internal dialogs mixed with music caused terrible discomfort. From this head became heavy, buzzing, as if in a head a bee swarm from voiced thoughts.

Strange things happened in my apartment. From time to time rustles or the sounds of falling dishes, the creak of a door were heard. Or a loud male voice could call me out of the kitchen. When I came to the kitchen, my voice called again, but from the room ...

At some point, I realized that I was hearing voices in my head. Sounds and voices were so realistic that they scared. My mind refused to believe, but the increasing frequency of cases with polyphony in my head made me understand what was happening. And the more I thought about the extermination of voices, the louder and more intense the endless dialogs scrolled inside.

I had dreams at night. Noisy, mocking, rolling. I heard voices and slurred echoing accompaniment. It was unclear in drowsiness where reality is, where is sleep.

Voice hallucinations

I asked some close friends if they had such conditions. I tried to calm myself down, thinking that every normal person hears this and there is nothing unusual in this. After asking a couple of acquaintances, I realized: I hear one voice. And do not find in the world a man who understands me and says: "I myself am so", - and tell me the secret truth of the emergence of voices.

It became problematic to talk with people. As soon as I asked the question to the interlocutor, I immediately ceased to hear the answer: the internal dialogue resumed and absolutely did not give a chance to concentrate. A man says - he answers me, but at this time I look through him and have been conducting an internal conversation for a long time. Sometimes an attentive interlocutor saw my indifference, disconnection from the conversation and safely retreated.

Who will like to communicate with a person who does not listen to you. Obvious reasons for acquaintances to avoid my person. Have a great ear and not hear people. This caused me great internal contradictions. Hear voices in your head, but not real people.

I hear voices in my head: what to do

To tell someone, to consult that I hear voices, is the same as admitting to my stupefaction. It’s the same as saying: “I'm eccentric, I hear voices. You do not shun me, please. It’s just that I’ve got a little "crazy"

Day after day, hundreds of dialogues scrolled through my head, many of them really sounded. I even answered aloud the questions I was asked. From the outside, it looked like a dialogue without one interlocutor. But what about? I have to answer the questions that have arisen - they ask me after all ...

It is well known that people who speak with themselves and hear voices are put on the “lists” of crazy people. In any case, they definitely have a mess with their heads. I am sick - mentally ill - the only thing that has arisen and entrenched in my understanding.

To date, I have no internal annoying dialogues, no votes. They disappeared forever. Sleep is normal and sufficient. The energy appeared to live, to do things. There is no place for apathy. It was possible to find the sphere of activity that fills the voids of the sound vector, gives impetus to mental work. Which, by the way, brings great, indescribable pleasure. Finally, I live.

How to learn to hear

your inner voice ...

The inner voice, which tells us whether to perform certain actions, is called intuition. This ability is inherent in all living beings. It helps to avoid danger, suggests a moment when you can take a chance and get a big win, etc. But often people do not listen to the exhortations of their inner voice. No matter what he says to us, we will still do it differently, obeying the cold reasoning of reason. Many of the greatest people of the past considered intuitive insight a necessary tool for understanding the world around them, often giving preference to the voice of the heart rather than the mind. Remember how the fox thinks in The Little Prince by A. Saint-Exupery? - "Vigilantly only a heart, you cannot see the most important with your eyes." And we, the children of technogenic civilization, are accustomed to trust the readings of instruments more than the voice of our own body, which has preserved ancient instincts. Intuition helps to connect to the cosmic information space and draw information from there or hear through thousands and millions of years the memory of our ancestors carried through human genes.

A significant drawback of intuitive knowledge is its spontaneity: we cannot predict when the inner voice will provide us with another clue. Representatives of psychological science in the course of numerous experiments have found that intuitive knowledge manifests itself most often in extreme situations. By the way, our ancestors knew about this feature of the human psyche to mobilize in critical conditions and find a way out in difficult situations, but attributed this to the intervention of higher forces.

One of the sources of intuition is life experience. The famous Swiss psychiatrist M. Luscher, the creator of the equally well-known color test that bears his name, in his article “Can I develop intuition?” Writes that information through the senses enters the human brain continuously and in huge volumes - up to 10 million bit per second! However, we only consciously perceive only about a few hundredths of a thousandth of this volume. And how much information, for the time being not in demand, is accumulated in billions of brain cells! Intuition just helps to use them. We can deny her existence and close our eyes and ears to her prompts, but she exists and works. In order to receive precise instructions from the signals that the Universe sends us in everyday life in the form of various material signs, we need to learn to trust the world around us and believe that there is a higher law according to which everything in the world, including ourselves, lives and develops.

To heed the inner voice, you need to believe yourself and listen. Oddly enough, the main obstacle to this path is the human mind. The “intelligent” part of our brain is the twentieth part of it; the rest is the work of the subconscious, in which sudden connections instantly arise, reflecting the undivided nature of the world and giving ingenious insights. Reason, the main property of which is the analysis and subsequent classification of the information received, rejects everything that cannot be decomposed into clear components.

Universal laws that apply to everything and everything around it are usually expressed not in simple and understandable words, but in symbols. In a single word or image you can compress a huge amount of important information, indivisible by virtue of its universality. But, as for mathematical formulas, we do not see any real of reality, and in the symbols sent to us by intuition, we cannot recognize the essence.

The voice of reason rejects the so-called common truths. You didn’t notice that at the time of the highest tension of physical and emotional forces, for some reason continuous banalities climb into your head? Reason laughs at them, but they are the ultimate truth that has passed the test of time and therefore is the quintessence of genuine knowledge.

The ability to listen to the inner voice and mind at the same time gives an amazing effect, which seems rather complicated, but believe it, it’s worth it. Firstly, the channel of intuition in modern people is crammed with distrust of the world and oneself, inability to listen, and an abundance of various information that enters the brain through all 5 senses. Intuition, which is also rightfully called the sixth sense, is not fueled by information from the outside, but knows the answer to any question due to the undifferentiated perception of the world. Cleaning the intuitive channel, the ability to disconnect from the excess information of the outside world - this is the first task.

The second difficulty is the lack of understanding of the voice of fate. We sometimes misinterpret clues, if at all. The language used by the inner voice is symbolic and often incomprehensible. Therefore, it is worth learning to decipher mysterious messages and understand the language of your own inner voice.

There are people who do not hear the inner voice. But this does not mean that he is not trying to shout to his owners. There is a purely psychological reason for this, which dampens the ability of an intuitive worldview and, figuratively speaking, it plugs your ears. This is a blockage of consciousness. To learn how to use the help of intuition, you need to find and remove blocks from consciousness. The reasons for them are any unpleasant cases in the past associated with the involuntary use of hints of intuition. This happened to every person. Usually the situation is simple: you did not heed the signs of your inner voice, and misfortune happened. Consciousness drew a parallel between the two things and concluded that there was an obvious connection between them. But instead of listening to the warnings of intuition the next time (and they in the form of negative emotions and unpleasant sensations make their way to our consciousness more often than signs of good luck and success), the mind put a block on any subconscious information, the result of which is disaster. They do not like messengers of misfortune everywhere, in ancient times they were even punished, believing that they show the way of grief and death.

Intuition appears today in the position of the mythical prophetess Cassandra, whose divination no one believed. Why wonder at the troubles that happen in our lives? It would be so easy to avoid them if we were a little more attentive to the signs of our own intuition.

Channels of intuitive information.

Each person in his own way cognizes the surrounding reality - emotionally, intellectually-logical way and, guided by internal motivations caused by the contemplation of reality and its perception. And since intuition, depending on personal experience, is different for each person, then there are a lot of types of it.

Without exception, all people have the ability to feel imminent danger. This intuitive knowledge is associated with the ancient instinct of self-preservation (instinctive intuition). Also, everyone has a predisposition to a certain kind of actions and actions, which is due to the individual personality traits and the influence of the momentary situation (dispositional intuition). Someone prefers to combine an intuitive knowledge of the world with logical analysis and theoretical calculations; someone emotionally perceives the whole world and people, possessing a high ability for empathy (sympathy, empathy). Some perceive the world through the prism of associations, instantly linking two facts into a single chain (the chain of reasoning is not visible, but only the result is insight); others simply intuitively read out the possible development of the situation and rarely make mistakes in their forecasts. The brain, each time receiving a task, knows its solution before a person comes to his awareness.

The American psychologist A. Damasio conducted an interesting experiment. 4 card decks were put on the table (2 with blue shirts and 2 with green), of which the participants were offered to take any at random. On the cards was the amount that the “player” received as a win or gave to the bank as a loss. Initially, the cards were distributed among the decks so that the blue ones had more large wins and losses, and the green ones had smaller amounts, but there were much less opportunities to lose. Naturally, this fact was not known to the subjects. As a result, it turned out that up to 50 attempts were required to realize this fact, after which the participants in the experiment no longer wanted to take cards from the blue decks, fearing major losses, since the win was more obvious with green cards. But after 10–15 attempts, the brain of the participants recognized this principle, and every time the “owner” was drawn to a dangerous deck, he signaled with all his might: at that moment the subjects' hands were sweating, the heartbeat was quickening. All these physiological data, indicating a critical situation, were recorded by special sensors.

The famous Soviet pop artist V. Messing, who performed in the genre of variety telepathy, had phenomenal abilities. His brain could only accept a huge amount of information, but also process most of it, allowing you to issue unmistakable conclusions about the things hidden in the hall. He not only possessed a subtle perception, but was also sensitive to the smallest changes in the behavior of the experimental viewer. However, he himself claimed that he did not know how to do it: “... This is not reading thoughts, but, so to speak,“ reading muscles ”... When a person thinks hard about something, brain cells transmit impulses to all muscles organism. Their movements, invisible to a simple eye, are easily perceived by me. ... I often do mental tasks without direct contact with the inductor. Here I can serve as a pointer to the inducer’s breathing rate, his heartbeat, the timbre of his voice, the nature of his gait, etc. ”

Other examples of this sensitivity can be given. A number of similar cases from many years of medical practice are described in popular science literature. Once an experienced doctor was invited to a boy who had a nervous breakdown - he was silent for several days. None of those around could establish the reasons for this anomaly, especially since the boy was usually talkative and sociable. By asking leading questions to the patient, the heartbeat doctor determined that he really wanted to get a dog and even brought home a stray dog, but his parents did not allow it. The doctor even managed to establish the name of the dog! When the cause of this behavior was discovered and the problem resolved, the boy spoke again.

Thus, the specifics of working with the inner voice, each of us has its own. Someone perceives it through physicality, sensing changes in the physical state of their own body; other clues of intuition are heard in emotions, positive or negative; for someone, intuitive information is pure knowledge. The inner voice works based on information received from outside, but does not classify it, but perceives it as a single ingot, sees all kinds of internal connections that the logical reasoning of the mind misses. Then they are all issued using one of the intuitive channels. If it is easier for you to perceive the world in its physicality and materiality, listen to your physical and physiological sensations; if you are emotional, then your emotions are the key to deciphering the messages of your inner voice.

However, both of these channels are publicly available. And, by the way, from the intuitive information that they deliver to us, we most often dismiss it. Think about the past, dig into it, and you will surely recall several cases that are not entirely explainable in terms of logic. For example, how many times has it happened that you did not want to go to work (to classes) and you literally pulled yourself out of the house by your hair. But when they arrived at the place, it turned out that the classes were canceled, and at work there was no light and water all day. Intuition warned you, but you did not listen, and the day was lost. Or cases from the business sphere: you were offered to invest a certain amount of money in a rather risky enterprise. This thought itself caused a surge of positive emotions in you, your mood improved. But you remembered (the mind has already turned on here) that you don’t know the person from whom the offer comes, and you don’t want to risk money. After some time, it turns out that those who nevertheless took a chance, received a worthy reward.

Of course, one should not rely only on intuitive insights, excluding any other sources of information, especially since intuitive clues can be incorrectly decoded. And the inner voice itself is sleeping under the influence of a poor physical condition, exhaustion of biological energy, or is completely silent, tired of shouting the life experience of its "owner".

In terms of signs and symbols, it is important what you feel and how. You need to listen to yourself, your own desires and interests: emotions are the loudest clues of an inner voice. For example, figuring out where to go if there are continuous setbacks on the current path is sometimes easy. Are there any things that you truly love, or activities that give yourself up and forget about bad mood and boredom? This is the path prompted by intuition. Do not think that your favorite hobby is associated only with costs and brings nothing. Firstly, it gives a good mood and a desire to live and work; secondly, provided that, listening to the inner voice, you try to make money with it, even if in addition to the main income, they will start to make a profit.

Another universal clue of the inner voice is negative emotions (sudden anxiety, obsessive fears, unreasonable bad mood or irritation, etc.). So, boredom right up to yawning means that you need to change the environment, goals and direction of movement.

If you do not want to turn your own hobby into a source of income, there is another case of making your own intuition talk. Go to the job site. Just flip through them, read employers' suggestions and check out anything you like. Do not make allowances for the age, skills and abilities that you possess, the remoteness of the proposed place of work from home. Just look for what will bring you into a good mood, make you involuntarily smile, and lead to pleasant memories or associations. Positive emotions will tell you the sphere, the work in which will give you pleasure, which means it will bring benefits, because you will work with full dedication. When enough material is gathered, you can, drawing on the promptings of your inner voice, draw up a picture of your ideal work. To do this, you need to find out the scope to which your soul aspires, especially attractive characteristics of your future job. Express your aspirations in one short phrase. Finally, decide what you are missing to immediately start working in this capacity (perhaps this is special knowledge or initial capital). Most often it happens that everything seems to be there for this, but you only need a push that will set you in motion. Here your intuition is not an assistant, and you will have to act on your own. In any case, you will not regret obeying an inner voice: a change of scenery will bring new experience, new friends and new emotions.

Work with an inner voice.

There are a few simple rules that let you hear your inner voice. The first is connected with a disconnection of consciousness and an attentive attitude to one's own sensations. Sometimes only the abundance of unnecessary information prevents us from listening to our inner voice, because it needs analysis and classification. Reason, connecting to the information channel, blocks signs of intuition, as it does not trust everything that is illogical and intangible. He eliminates the unnecessary, from his point of view, that which does not fit into the rational framework. Remember the manner of work of the inspector of Scotland Yard Lestrade, the hero of A. Conan Doyle’s novels about Sherlock Holmes: he collected some of the most striking facts and evidence at the crime scene and built a version of the crime based on them. All the data that did not fit into this picture, he simply did not take into account. It is not surprising that he did not solve a single complex crime, where everything is not so obvious as it seems at first glance.

Therefore the first rule - Avoid external redundant data coming through the senses, and listen to information coming from the subconscious. Let your task go free, give the decision time to "mature and manifest." In general, intuition should be worked on “by touch”: in order to get the right answer, intuition does not need to know the question at all.

Another negative quality of the human mind is stubbornness. Today, everyone practices the so-called Success System, one of the most important points of which is the development of the ability to set goals. It's simple: you set goals, and your subconscious with the help of the Universe does everything according to your desire. All this is wonderful, if not for one “but”. Very often, together with goals, we think through the road along which we will go towards this goal. The Universe offers paths shorter than those that we have chosen, intuition whispers various tricks with which the desired is achieved much faster. But we stubbornly rush forward along the road that we ourselves have determined, and close our eyes and ears to all the tips and workarounds. The mind is very stubborn and does not want to turn aside. Yes, in the end we achieve our goal, but we spend so much time and energy, and most importantly - nerves!

Second rule- listen to your own feelings, bodily and emotional. Let memories and quotes flash through your head. Associations will help you understand what your inner voice wanted to tell you. The main thing is not to miss the slightest detail from the first sensations, therefore it is important to say everything that comes to mind without stopping or thinking. Use a voice recorder to record or ask someone close to record your monologue without omitting anything. Finally, after learning the question posed before your inner voice, learn to interpret the signs. As has been said more than once, it is the clue of signs that often bewilders. This is quite difficult and requires a certain skill, especially since the pieces of the puzzle are scattered, often many of them are missing for completeness. Your inner voice offers you these separate fragments, and putting them into a single picture provides you. In the case when a holistic and logical answer does not work out, come up with it! You must trust your inner voice; this is the hardest thing to learn.

Of course, in order to learn to listen to your inner voice, you need training. There is special literature devoted to this issue. We will offer only a few well-known techniques here.

First you need to determine what type of intuition you have and what intuitive information you get (sensory, associative, verbal or bodily). To do this, you need to connect memory and mind. First, recall the various cases in which, as you think, you used the prompts of your inner voice; the more such cases you recall, the better. Then, when you have collected material for analysis, distribute all cases into groups depending on the channel through which information was received, for example, through positive or negative emotions; with an arbitrary association that was the answer to the question asked; bad health, obsessive sounds or smells, etc.

Make a conclusion how easier it is for you to hear the inner voice - in a play on words, smells and sounds. Perhaps you see clear pictures in front of your inner eyes, or you just suddenly feel that your body is giving out some strange reactions. Having done all this, you can define your own intuitive channel.

If visual information only clogs the intuitive channel (most of the information that enters our brain is precisely that that is transmitted through the visual channel), it is possible that other organs are connected with the inner voice by stronger bonds. For example, the sense of smell. For representatives of the animal world, smell and its change say a lot. People do not have such a keen sense of smell as our smaller brothers, but still the ability to capture the subtlest odors is developed quite well. The brain receives this information and sends signals to the body that the consciousness cannot always respond to. Eric Burn writes in his work on intuition: “The fact that we are not aware of the smell does not mean that it does not affect our emotional attitude. Smells can change the content of dreams, and they are not perceived as smells. ” They can also be a source of intuitive information.

When working with the inner voice, it is always important to remember that the subconscious - the main source of our intuition - works with an undivided picture of reality. For him, any situation is visible holistic. When it received a question (sometimes we don’t even know that it has already been formulated), it immediately gives out a possible scenario, seeing connections at a level inaccessible to consciousness. To develop the ability to bind various data in chains of associations, it is enough to make both hemispheres work in a coordinated manner. However, this is easier said than done. Exercises aimed at this are quite complex. The fact is that you need to learn how to combine the incompatible and perform several diverse actions at the same time. For example, there is an exercise for children “Goat and a cow”, which is also suitable for our purposes. It is necessary to show the “goat” with the fingers of one hand, and the “cow” with the fingers of the other, protruding the index finger and little finger. Both figures are executed simultaneously. To begin with, you do not need to take a high pace, do the exercise at a speed that will allow you not to get confused in your own fingers. Recommendation: when you just begin to master the exercise, it is more convenient to pronounce the names of the figures, to yourself or aloud.

When you are no longer straying, start to increase the pace. In addition to coordinating the work of both cerebral hemispheres, this exercise also develops mindfulness and teaches concentration.

What does your intuition say to you? Through internal and external sensations. To catch them, not missing the smallest nuances, you must learn to pronounce everything that comes to mind. The fact is that consciousness is responsible for speech. It builds a phrase in a logical sequence, organizes entire texts, whether monological or dialogical; it makes you choose words and constructions, topics of conversation, etc. The same applies to written speech, only it is even more organized and subordinate to the logic of reason. Whereas all reservations and clerical errors are the work of the subconscious, it is through them that our intuition speaks. From the foregoing, we conclude: in order to “wake up” our inner voice, we need to learn to speak without stopping, without choosing words and expressions, jumping from topic to topic, while getting rid of the control of consciousness. This is very difficult, since the mind at first was constantly wedged in and trying to dictate its own laws. To get rid of his pressure, you need to approach a state close to meditative.

It so happens that people who are confronted with the need to speak without stopping for at least a few minutes seem to be speechless. Suddenly, words suddenly disappear, not a single thought comes to mind. This happens, for example, when you talk on the phone with a person who, by and large, has nothing to say. And it is necessary. Learn to say everything that literally comes into your head. Let the words flow like a river. It will be good if at first someone from relatives or friends helps you. Their task is to "talk" you, asking questions, and not to let you stop. This stream of consciousness, or rather the subconscious, is best recorded on a voice recorder. Remember, when you speak, keeping your mind silent, your inner voice speaks. It gives out connections and associations that you do not see. Do not bother him, do not try to bind fragmentary pieces together. You can do this later by listening to the recording. Perhaps it will become clear to you what urgent question of your life is answered by intuition. The fact is that the subconscious, better than you yourself, knows all your problems, requests, questions and goals. They are born there and they do not always succeed in breaking through to the level of consciousness, moving into the category of “queued for decision, implementation”. Listen to the voice of intuition, and you will learn a lot about yourself. Do not be afraid to say: there are words!

Then, analyzing the information obtained in this way, you will notice with interest that absolutely everything that you said falls into 3 blocks:

1st are comments and logical insights of the mind. He enters into your monologue as soon as you allow him to do so, and corrects what has been said;

The 2nd block is the results of the work of the imagination. It also comes into operation with permission, and sometimes, when there is absolutely nothing to say, and under its compulsion: by recording it is easy to track. For example, you were silent, having lost all the words at once, but then by willpower clung to the last word that was uttered and continued the phrase, inventing its ending;

The third block consists of images, thoughts, sensations and words that first came to your mind. This is the voice of the subconscious.

The information of all three blocks must be paid attention to in the analysis, not missing anything. Signals from the mind need to be monitored. Sometimes it happens that they make it difficult to concentrate, and this annoying factor is worth paying attention to. If something aggressively “climbs” into the head, and the brain is fixed on this factor so that it is impossible to distract it, then this is important. Listen to such “hindrances” when nothing else comes to mind, and they occupy all your attention: it can also be an inner voice.

Imagination is also necessary because it helps the work of intuition. After all, consciousness is only the starting point of the work of the imagination, and then free associations come into play, launching the subconscious and all the information stored there. Finally, the signals received specifically from intuition must be carefully analyzed and, if you wish, composed of the first answers from them.

When the first steps are mastered, and you have learned to voice the voice of intuition, without restraining it with consciousness, you need to go further. To hear the prompts of the inner voice and heed them, you need to trust him, as we have already said above. The famous multimillionaire Robert Kiosaki - the author of many books on developing the ability to be financially independent in himself - writes that many people believe in God, but very few trust them, relying entirely on his kindness, justice, love and desire to help. We also add: it is with those who trust that things called popular miracles happen! In the case of intuition, the situation is similar: it is not enough to believe in its existence, you also need to listen to its advice. No, we are adults and reasonable, so what will we behave like children ?! Yes, they trust their inner feelings and very rarely make mistakes. Elementary distrust interferes with adults. Introduce a special rule for yourself: one day a week to live according to the advice of an inner voice. Now that you have learned to hear him, he will speak with you very confidently. Neither doubt nor reasoning should be taken into account: intuition never doubts or guesses. She knows.

So what does it mean to live according to the advice of intuition? You listen to your inner voice and go where it leads you, or, on the contrary, do not go anywhere. Choose the clothes (shoes, bus, show in the cinema) that he will tell you; if suddenly there was an urgent desire to call a person who had not been seen for many years, you do this without doubting and not thinking about the result. This list can be continued indefinitely, because in almost every case intuition will give its recommendations. And the results will not slow down. For example, the chosen bright shirt will help maintain a good and festive mood throughout the day, which means that everything will turn out easily and fun. In the morning session at the cinema (if you usually go to the movies late in the evening, but decided to listen to your inner voice), you will meet a school friend who brought with his children. It may provide a key to solving the problems of investing capital, finding a job, etc., that have long been of concern to you. If the question is “launched” into the information field, then there will certainly be an answer to it, and your intuition will lead you to it along the shortest path. An example is a case from life. A certain young woman from a small provincial town decided to start looking for a new job, but they were inconclusive. She was already desperate, but somehow went to an exhibition of gems (which, by the way, she was never interested in) and met her old friend there. In a conversation with her, it turned out that she now works in Moscow and earns well. And, remembering that our heroine was fluent in English, she suggested to her: “Move to Moscow. Our boss has two school children, and he is just looking for an English tutor for them. It will be good to pay. ” After some time, this young woman moved to the capital and got a job as a governess, while the employer provided her with housing. Once again you are convinced that we are not given to predict where our paths lead, but for intuition this is not a mystery.

And the last stage of our classes: we need to give the task to the inner voice. If there is no goal, then the results are not too visible (although a good mood, unexpected finds of long lost things, a meeting with old friends, etc., are also a consequence of the work of intuition).

It has already been said before that intuition knows better than you and me what exactly we want and what we strive for. She tells where to go, what to do, but we don’t hear. Why? Because our desires and goals are unconscious. If you learn to consciously set tasks for the inner voice, he, of course, will also give an answer. But in this case there is more chance to hear it and, most importantly, apply it, because it will correspond to the direction of searches. It must be said that when a goal is set, not only the subconscious, but also the mind is involved in the search for ways to achieve it. He also seeks out solutions, and there is no need to drop them, waiting for prompts from an inner voice. Just accepting them, you need to remember: not only the whole picture is open to consciousness, it is not able to calculate all the possible consequences of the actions taken. Frankly, not many people have the mind able to calculate the situation and determine all possible options for the development of events. But each of us has an intuition that knows how to do this, knows everything, and, of course, will assist in making decisions. You probably know examples of “unexpected” insights and great discoveries. Take, for example, a textbook story with the apple of Isaac Newton. If the question had not been formulated to scientists long before the moment the notorious apple fell on his head, the law of universal gravitation would not have been open to them. Indeed, for many people apples and other objects fell on their heads, nature chose Newton, who managed to draw the right conclusion from this.

Ordinary people want to receive answers to questions not of a scientific nature, but of a domestic one, which would lead us to prosperity and success. So let's learn how to formulate questions and, once again, listen to the answers to them.

The simplest exercise is to learn to formulate brief questions addressed to yourself. It should be mastered in several steps, without rushing and analyzing each response of intuition received through any of the possible communication channels. So, relax, sit comfortably in your favorite chair and - let's go!

The first stage is that you ask yourself the simplest questions that require a monosyllabic answer. Even if they are obvious, the first questions will be obvious, you will still “hear” the instant consent or disagreement of your own intuition. However, not only hear, but also feel - in an instant change in physical condition (tingling at your fingertips, desire to change a comfortable and familiar posture, yawning, ringing in the ears, etc.); in visual images that are presented to your inner gaze, etc. Not all answers will be identified by you as positive or negative. Therefore, the results of such a blitz survey must be carefully recorded and then, after analyzing, decide in which case intuition agrees with you, and in which it does not. This will be quite simple to do, since the questions of the first stage are unequivocal and the answers to them are well known to you, for example: “Am I sitting in an armchair?”, “Do I have long hair?”, Etc.

Stage Two. Now we ask more difficult questions: “What to buy first: a refrigerator or a stove?”, “Go to a theater or a movie tonight?”, Etc. You will hear the answers and, based on your previous experience, will be able to interpret them, checking with your sensations.

For training, play this game with intuition constantly. Let the questions get complicated once in a while (first ask questions that you can verify answers to; then, when information about your individual communication channel with your internal voice has accumulated, you can complicate them by asking really important ones, the answer to which can fundamentally change your a life).

Those who do not want to believe in the existence of an inner voice want to offer an entertaining experiment (such people usually trust their own ears and eyes rather than other people's words). We will call it Libra, because all that is required of you is to try to pretend to be scales. You can choose any image for yourself, this is not important. The main thing is that your scales have 2 bowls - you depict them with your own hands. Focus, formulate your question for intuition and then imagine that both possible answers (“yes” or “no”, “good” or “bad”, “for” or “against”) lie on the scales. Remember which one is associated with each of the solutions for you. Usually, good is associated with the right side, and evil with the left. People even say that "A devil is behind the left shoulder, and a guardian angel is behind the right shoulder." Release all thoughts and relax, feel heaviness in the palms and carefully monitor your own sensations. You will surely think that one hand has become heavier: the answer lying on this side of the scale pulls the palm more toward the ground. This will be the answer to your question. An experiment always works, even if your belief in intuition is zero.

Automatic actions as signs.

Now let's talk about actions that are called automatic. We commit them without the participation of the mind. You can automatically speak, write, leaf through a book, sort out objects in your hands, etc. All this is also a sign of an inner voice. Everyone in childhood probably read the fairy tale "Go there, I don’t know where, bring that, I don’t know what." This was a task just for intuition: without listening to the voice of reason, let the legs themselves choose the path-way. The body that receives commands directly from the brain, bypassing the censorship of consciousness, knows where to go. You can do the following exercise. State yourself a certain goal, it does not have to be localized on the map of your locality. This can be a question from any field (it would be desirable, of course, to be able to verify the correctness of the answer given by intuition). And then hit the road, not choosing especially roads, but carefully looking around and noticing everything for which the eye or ear “clings”. Allocate a certain period of time, for example, 30 minutes, to the task. And exactly half an hour later stop and look where your legs have led you. By the way, it is better to go on such a walk on a clear day and with a comrade who will distract a light conversation from a conscious choice of route. Returning from a walk, write down everything that I remember: impressions, emotions, a change in the topic of conversation, changes in the weather, and, of course, the final destination. Analyze this data and correlate it with the question before the walk. Believe me, the results obtained during this unscientific experiment can turn out to be very interesting.

Automatic speech or automatic writing is widely used in the practice of clairvoyance. There is a special category of people - mediums who easily abandon the primacy of mind in the body. A place is freed which, as you know, is never empty; it immediately takes, say, intuition, which begins to broadcast through the lips of a medium. By the way, who or what exactly takes the place of the mind in the medium’s body, I think they themselves argued. For those who perceive the other world as something real, this question does not arise. Therefore, we will not insist on our point of view, putting forward it as a hypothesis.

The flaws of the inner voice.

If you think that, relying solely on your own intuition, you can happily pass through any dangers and traps, then you are mistaken. Especially you should not rely only on signs of an internal voice in business. As already mentioned, past experiences and memories are one of the sources of intuitive knowledge. And experience, as you know, can be not only positive. He remains in our memory once and for all, constantly whispering fears, fears, mostly groundless. For example, the famous American psychologist and writer D. Myers, the author of Intuition, tells the following. After the tragic events of September 11, 2001 in New York, when the famous twin towers were destroyed, most Americans prefer land transport to air transport. Their negative experience (even if not their own), reinforced by numerous broadcasts from the scene, publications in newspapers and magazines, eyewitness accounts, warns them of the dangers of airplanes, although statistics provide other data: air transport is much safer than an ordinary car or bus. Or another example. As a student, you put on a yellow shirt when you went to take the important exam, which you failed. This happened because you were poorly prepared for it. What will consciousness do? It will connect the yellow shirt with failure and henceforth, when you choose clothes of this color in your wardrobe, the brain will say: “Don’t! Watch out! Failure guaranteed! ” So signs and superstitions are born. Although here the behavioral line developed as a result of negative practical experience is clearly erroneous: the yellow color is not at all guilty of your failures. This phenomenon, which so often affects our inner voice, is called by the psychologists the “illusion of correlation,” that is, it is human nature to see or invent causal relationships where they do not exist.

If you are seriously engaged in business and intend to invest heavily in some new business, do not fully trust your intuition. The already mentioned D. Myers in one of the interviews said: “... economic intuition is a very dangerous thing. Relying only on her, it’s great to lose. ” Moreover, as you understand, it does not always act as a voice from above, speaking exclusively the truth. This feature of a human being was noticed by an American philosopher of the XIX century. G. D. Toro: “We hear and accept only what we already half know.” Therefore, if there is too little experience in this particular field, it is better to get it!

Let’s try to make a natural conclusion by conducting an experiment. We offer you 2 situations:

1) a person is in mortal danger, which he does not suspect;

2) a person (suppose he often plays on the stock exchange, but is not a professional broker) is faced with the choice: to buy more shares of a particular enterprise or already start selling them?

Now answer the question, which of the situations is more likely to get a real clue to action from the inner voice?

Right, in the first. Our distant ancestors developed in the process of evolution mental strategies that helped them find food and survive. Their brain constantly analyzed the surrounding reality in order to make the right decision and avoid danger. The mind has never developed in the direction of intuitively predicting fluctuations in the securities market, optimal social security policies or the relative safety of driving compared to flying on an airplane. Consequently, a quick leap to conclusions may work better in those situations that our species encountered in the process of evolution, and not in those with which it is dealing at the present stage. Often, based on certain behavioral stereotypes, people make far from the most wise business decisions.

Another unpleasant feature of intuition is its unpredictability and obvious dependence on human emotions. The famous psychologist E. Berne wrote about this in 1971: “Unfortunately, at present, intuition can be detected only at such a time and in circumstances that seem appropriate to its bearer. Either he is “in shock” or not, and so far no one has discovered a way to control intuition, which would allow him to be called out arbitrarily ... ” D. Kahneman worked on the problem of emotional bias in his inner voice, who proved that “different ways of describing a problem that needs to be solved give different results. Despite the fact that from a rational point of view the answer should be the same. ” This phenomenon was called the "staging effect", which was confirmed in an experiment called the "Case of Asian Disease." Its participants were asked to choose one of two existing methods of combating some terrible disease that came to the United States from Asian countries. If you do not fight it at all, then 600 people will die; Method A will help save 200 patients, and Method B will help either save everyone (approximately 30% outcome) or anyone (the probability of such an outcome is approximately 70%). With this formulation of a hypothetical situation, the participants in the experiment cast their votes for Method A.

Another group of participants was faced with the same choice, but formulated differently: if you use method A, 400 people will die; Method B allows you to save with a probability of 30% of all patients, or (with the remaining probability) everyone will die. Although with a rational approach, the choice should be the same, in the second case, the participants in the experiment voted for method B, since it did not indicate the number of deaths, but the number of those saved, that is, emotions entered into the matter.

However, there are situations in which you should not rely on emotions and feelings, therefore it is better to neglect the inner voice in favor of rational logic.

An intuitive solution can sometimes talk about problems that have not been relevant to you for a long time. The inner voice does not matter what matters to you today. Moreover, one of the requirements of the work of intuition is the ability to temporarily forget about the task. The mind is busy with other things, while the subconscious mind is looking for a solution. When analyzing the prompts of the inner voice, it’s worth considering this moment: perhaps they do not relate to the current moment, not to the problems that your brain is busy with now, but to certain questions asked by intuition a long time ago? ..

Finally, listening to the advice of an inner voice, one should always remember: intuition, like any other sign of fate, does not predict the guaranteed occurrence of a particular event. Any sign, whether it is a popular sign from the field of superstitions, an individual number in numerology, a zodiac sign and a date of birth, speak of potential events that everyone can change. The inner voice often reports the creation of a turning point, after which, if you do not take the situation under control, everything can go very badly. Therefore, sudden negative emotions or a voice muttering ominously somewhere inside you are not signs of an approaching problem, but of an approaching one. And instead of cursing your fate, it is better to analyze the clue and try, before it is too late, to fix it.

And finally, we give an excerpt from the book of D. Myers "Intuition", which, speaking about the pros and cons of intuitive knowledge of the world, leads the 12 most common misconceptions of our inner voice, a kind of stereotypes of thinking.

1. Designing memories - under the influence of our mood and misinformation, we can form false memories and give doubtful testimonies.

2. Misinterpretation of our own mind - often we do not know why we are doing this and not otherwise.

3. Misinterpretation of our feelings - we badly predict the intensity and duration of our own emotions.

4. False predictions of our behavior - our intuitive predictions about ourselves often turn out to be completely groundless.

5. Distortion of looking backward - recalling certain events, we proceed from the false premise that we always knew that "this is what will end."

6. Protective self-esteem distortion - in various ways we demonstrate excessive self-esteem.

7. Overconfidence - intuitive assessments of one’s knowledge usually differ not so much in correctness as in confidence.

8. Fundamental attribution error - we explain the behavior of others by their inclinations, belittling the significance of the undetected circumstances of a particular situation.

9. Persistence of beliefs and error of confirmation - partly because we prefer to confirm information, while beliefs are often preserved even after their foundations are discredited.

10. Representativeness and accessibility - a quick and economical heuristic becomes hasty if it leads us to illogical and incorrect judgments.

11. The effect of framing - the conclusions are reversed, depending on how the same piece of information is fed.

12. The illusion of correlation - an intuitive perception of communication where it is absent.

Great about signs and symbols

“When a drop of rain knocks on the window - this is My Sign!

When the bird trembles - this is My Sign!

When the leaves sweep in a whirlwind - this is My Sign!

When ice melts the sun - this is My Sign!

When waves wash away spiritual grief - this is My Sign!

When the wing of illumination touches the troubled soul - this is My Sign!

Count the steps when you go to the Temple

for every seventh step carries My Token!

When you reveal a new understanding of My Sign,

you will see the sparkling lightning of the Worlds.

I opened the door for you, but you can only enter yourself. ”

E. I. Roerich

"Signs and symbols rule the world, not a word or a law."

I wish you good luck on your life journey !!!

Perhaps everyone knows what a person’s inner voice is. Many people think that this is something innermost, true, the voice of the subconscious, which certainly knows what we need and what is better for us. Meanwhile, if a person’s inner voice says something bad, it doesn’t have to be the ultimate truth. So what to do when the inner voice says - listen to it or not?

The voice in our head

Suppose you decide to ask your boss for promotions. You are almost ready for a heated argument, but suddenly you hear somewhere in your own head a voice: “Better sit quietly and do not lean out, otherwise you will fly out of work altogether.” Or, let’s say, it occurred to you to enroll in painting courses for amateurs. You thought that such activities can be a good rest and will make a difference in the gray life. But your inner voice whispers: “Why do you need it at this age, you’ll just be disgraced, you don’t have a drop of talent.” Your enthusiasm immediately bursts like a soap bubble ...

Familiar situation? Probably everyone faced something similar. They say that when someone hears voices, he needs to immediately contact a psychiatrist. But we are not talking about such a thing. Our inner voice is an inner critic working as an effective braking system. His task is to extinguish enthusiasm, the destruction of faith in ourselves, the desire to pull us legs down. Moreover, he is very inventive in coming up with excuses, always finds some reason for inaction.

If the inner voice speaks disgusting, and we let it manage our life, then we will live it colorless, we will not try anything new, because fear and doubt paralyze us. At 99%, he stops us in place, but as you know, who does not go forward, he moves backward.

Inner voice \u003d intuition?

We tend to overestimate the importance of internal monologues or dialogues with ourselves because we often take them for our real “I”, signals of the subconscious, intuition. Some people really have glimpses of intuition only happen in the form of voices. They say that they clearly hear something in their head. How to distinguish this help of the cosmos, the universe from the internal brake?

In fact, it is very simple: glimpses of real intuition never criticize, do not entangle you in polemics and do not explain anything. The task of intuition is to protect us, so the “messages” from it will be short and simple: “don't go there,” “go down another street,” “call home,” and so on. You do not hear in your head that you do not need to go somewhere, because you cannot cope with something or get lost. Intuition does not say: "Do not go there, because you are in danger." And the inner critic has only one goal - to weaken us morally and turn us into our victim. Therefore, it is worth getting rid of it or at least learn to control it.

How to end the war between the ears?

Many people are faced with the fact that they have more than one vote. And this is not at all a reason to feel crazy or to become depressed because of internal monologues. This phenomenon must somehow be dealt with only because it blocks the realization of dreams.

  1. The first step to victory is a look at yourself from a distance, the look of an observer, as well as a change in point of view. Believe that you are not a toy, not a pawn in the hands of space or the world, you are - if not the only, then one of the main reasons for your own actions. When once again the inner voice begins to say bad, what needs to be done? Ask yourself where it came from. Tell yourself that this is your inner voice, but not you yourself, and believe it with all your heart.
  2. Step two - learn to allow yourself weaknesses, openly admit that something went wrong, was done wrong. This gives a person enormous freedom, because he will no longer have to hide his own weaknesses before himself and the world. In any person there is a light and dark side, an angel and a devil, a hero and a villain. The only question is who will win in a particular situation.

When the inner voice begins to whisper that you won’t succeed, that you don’t know how, vigorously cut yourself off and say “stop”. Do not let yourself be drawn into this game of thoughts and reason, distract yourself with something from them.

Translated means (English implicit speech, inner speech, covert speech) - soundless speech that occurs, for example, in the process of thinking in the form of an internal voice. It is a derivative form of external (sound) speech, adapted to perform mental operations in the mind. What do you say to yourself when you make a mistake or accidentally ruin something? In this case, some will comment out loud, and some will turn to themselves in an “inner voice,” some will not turn to themselves at all.

What is an inner voice for?

Although speech is mainly used to communicate with other people, it is also a means of communicating with oneself. Turning ourselves to ourselves means that we are divided into two parts, the one that sends the message and the other half of us that must accept the information sent. Some see this as the conversion of one “I” to a second “I”.
In many cases, the inner voice is actually a monologue when one part of the personality comments on the second part of the personality. The second part of the person hears a comment, but does not respond to it, but listens more passively and allows you to influence it. Commentary on oneself and one's actions may include criticism or praise.
Very often people comment on themselves from the negative side, in certain situations they indicate again and again stereotypical humiliations of themselves and negative sides or actions. For example, when something is wrong, they may say to themselves “you are an idiot incapable” or “you are completely incapable, look at others”.
This is the essence of what a person tells himself in certain situations, especially stressful ones, and this indicates what relation a person has to himself. It often turns out that this is a very negative and neglectful attitude towards oneself. Based on the content of the inner voice, it can be assumed that someone has a negative attitude towards himself. Self-attitude is unconditionally possible and necessary to change, especially if it is a negative and neglectful attitude.

  • accepting yourself as a worthy person does not mean that you need to take all your actions.
  • develop self-esteem, be prepared to correct your mistakes or incorrect behavior.
  • changing his attitude to himself, the inner voice becomes different, healthier, because it includes more realistic criticism and encourages his actions in the right situation.

Unlike statements containing requirements that make them remember and repeat, statements containing questions motivate a person to think and seek an answer to this question. Therefore, in a stressful situation, it is better to ask yourself a question to help yourself think and get a better answer to a stressful situation. These may be questions: What is happening now? How important is what is happening? What would others like me to do?
Inner speech is very important because it often leads us to dysfunctional life difficulties. It is not only psychotherapy that studies internal speech, but also various trainings for personal growth and development, as well as in sports, to achieve better results.
