Blocks in the body how to get rid. What are muscle clamps and how to get rid of them

Hello dear friends!

It is very important to be able to get rid of the load and ballast, which blocks the development of a person, forcing him to move backward. In addition to past accomplishments, a person can drag along completely destructive attitudes and.

The body clamps become an insurmountable barrier for many individuals who decide to make their life successful. In fact, negative emotions are a significant reason provoking a galaxy of various diseases.

If a person does not know how or does not want to get rid of such feelings, then very soon they will transform into symptoms of diseases and affect their well-being. The accumulation of negative charges works smoothly and quickly.

When the transition to bodily form nevertheless took place, the person experiences a deep pressure of clamps. How to remove “conserved” emotions from your own body and live a life full of health?

Psychosomatics is a direction not only in medicine, but also in psychology. It is engaged in studying the influence of psychological factors on the manifestation and course of bodily diseases.

The bodily consequences of a hard day or stressful situations are not difficult to find. To do this, it is enough to get to know your body again and notice those features that you could not pay attention to before.

Muscle blocks in the body are an unpleasant state of constant muscle tension, and more often a whole group. The more clamps are hidden in the human body, the faster its performance loses strength and emotional fuse. A person cannot feel comfortable: she is overcome by mood swings, negative feelings, and spasm.

Feeling of fear and muscle blockade

When people feel the reaction of fear on themselves, changes are already taking place in the body. In response to panic and fear, the human body becomes vulnerable and reacts with the occurrence of a focus of clamping in the muscles or pain in the most problematic organ. Pain in the heart, stomach, gynecology problems - all these are common reasons for visiting a doctor.

Most often, the onset of discomfort affects the collar zone. The habit of pulling your head into your shoulders is a prime example. The diaphragm zone also reacts violently to provocation due to intermittent breathing.

The muscles that are around the eyes are among the first to enter a psychosomatic reaction to the stimulus. For many people, this can result in a teak attack or glazing syndrome.

The hands or limbs begin to tremble treacherously and appear in tremor, along with a very strong back clamp, which tends to take the form of a curved arc.

In the case of systematic or even chronic muscle tension due to a constant feeling of fear or anxiety, the body of the individual forms a muscle clamp. Such a repository is dangerous in many manifestations at the most inopportune moment.

Have you ever felt an attack of total and uncontrollable fear when there is no threat? Muscle memory of the body is to blame. When something similar to a dangerous situation appears near you, the body is saved from habit by squeezing and trembling.

This state of psychological and physical health is dangerous deepening of diseases and their development. If at the beginning the attack can manifest itself as mild nausea, then in the epic of its development a similar reflex can lead to paralysis of the body.

What makes the shell formed inside?

 • He devours an unrealistic amount of energy, so a person gets only a grain of it. A constant feeling of fatigue is the initial stage of the occurrence of a blocker;
 • in the place where the clamp has settled, blood vessels are squeezed due to excessive tension of the muscle corset. In this regard, the metabolism slows down, organs do not get nutritional supplements and oxygen. Further, the process comes to weaken the immune system and the culmination of action - the disease;
 • the body of an individual becomes alien and uncontrollable. It resembles a split application that throws errors and crashes. How to get rid of the clamps yourself and what exercises will most effectively help bring yourself back to normal?

1. Techniques for relaxing the body and soul

Relaxing muscle barricades - very helpful! Such techniques perfectly relieve tension and help restore mental balance. A person will be able to return to a state of full and productive relaxation and energy circulation. Of course, the study will affect both the face and soul of the individual.

What will you gain? Normalization of blood supply, correct lymphatic outflow, muscle elasticity and flexibility. The skill of complete relaxation must be constantly trained. Meditations are fundamental methods that transfer a person to a completely different dimension, free from problems and pain.

This is sad, but most people simply do not realize the oppressive depression due to inattention or lack of communication with their body. Make up for lost time and train about which I wrote in my article earlier.

2. The study of removing the clamps of body parts

Mouth

Characteristic mouth constriction is a powerful blocking of the transmission of feelings, both positive and negative charge. A person can talk without opening his jaw, smile imperceptibly and be afraid to open his mouth wide at the moment of dialogue.

I want to invite you to familiarize yourself with an exercise that helps remove blocks around the mouth. It must be performed daily and systematically, left alone with yourself.

So, sit on the floor. In other words - curl up in a glomerulus like an embryo. After completely calming down, close your eyes and begin to make sucking movements for more than 10 minutes. After your workout, relax and rest with your eyes closed for another couple of minutes.

Do not be afraid to show emotions. You can even cry! Why is that? Suppressed needs and feelings about affection and security begin to emerge from the depths of bodily clamps.

Throat and jaw

Heaviness at the time of swallowing or an unconscious habit of constantly swallowing saliva is the first beacon of the presence of a problem. Also, a clip in the area of the vocal cords can be seen here.

The clenched jaws block the flow of any sound. This is a signal from the body that it refuses to “set free” all spiritual experiences. In order to get rid of an unpleasant sensation, it is necessary to perform a simple but very effective exercise.

Yawn day and evening, opening the jaw as wide and free as possible. Be sure to voice this reflex process without pinching the sound in your throat.

I also advise you to use a technique that allows you to get negative emotions, rage and from the inside of the body. To do this, you will need a towel or any soft toy.

You need to bite and pull the towel out of your teeth, making a characteristic “dog” growl. Invest all anger and aggression in this study. When you get tired, try to freeze and completely relax the jaw (the mouth will be open, and the lower jaw is maximally lowered).

Sternum

A thoracic clamp immediately causes breathing problems. To check if you have a problem, just follow this procedure: pronounce the sound “aaaa” sitting on the floor for 20 seconds. If you cannot sound the right number of seconds, then most likely the problem is present.

Proper breathing practices masterfully recommend themselves at the time of removal of the clamps of the chest. I recommend that you familiarize yourself with an effective method of disposal.

You need to lie across the sofa so that your feet remain on the floor. Buttocks should hang slightly from the surface. Be sure to place a large cushion in the form of a pillow or towel under your lower back. That is, your head, and most importantly the body will acquire the most open posture and remain much lower than the pelvis.

Throw your hands over your head, fingers up. And here you need rarely, but rather deeply breathe about 20 minutes. If tears come to your eyes, do not be alarmed - this is a normal reaction of the body to refusing blocks.

Friends, stay healthy and happy!

See you on the blog, bye-bye!

Muscle clamps and blocks are unpleasant phenomena that some people suffer from. At these moments, they experience significant discomfort, and in neglected situations an almost unbearable pain is possible.

Faced with such situations, people try to massage the affected areas, rub them with warming ointments, use painkillers, but all this does not help. More precisely, there is an effect, but it is short-term and after a short period everything returns. To overcome the neuromuscular block forever, you need to identify its true cause and learn how to deal with it correctly.

Muscle clamp - what is it?

There are many causes of neuromuscular block, but to understand them? need to find out what kind of violation it is? In fact, a muscle block or muscle carapace is the tension of a particular muscle or a whole group that does not relax even at rest.

Often this muscle is hypertrophied and blood passes through it with difficulty. Accordingly, the efficiency of functioning is reduced. In addition, the clamped muscle hardens and disrupts the normal functioning of the whole body. With any mobility, severe pain can occur.

It is noteworthy, but when a muscle block holds a certain limb or part of the body, people are in no hurry to consult a doctor. They try to find the cause of the problem themselves, gradually getting used to the discomfort and continuing to live with muscle tension. This state of affairs leads to various disorders and diseases:
 phlebeurysm;
 clamping of internal organs; flat feet;
 curvature of the spinal column.

What can be muscle clamps from?

You will be amazed to learn about the real causes of muscle tension. One of them is connected with psychosomatics. The theory was first considered by a student of Wolf Messing and psychologist Wilhelm Reich, who founded the school of psychoanalysis.

The human body is a mirror of psychological disorders. Based on this, Reich concluded that each psychological disorder leaves certain marks in the body, which are manifested by muscle stiffness.

If all this is simplified, the following picture is obtained: if one does not know how to control emotions and restrain them without showing others, a person is forced to suppress them. This leads to chronic overstrain of individual muscle groups. In this regard, over time, muscle clamps will appear that act as protective reactions to unpleasant sensations.

Feelings, emotions and worldviews affect the physical body, health and well-being. The body as a mirror reflects our psycho-emotional state. We carry out self-diagnostics and identify foci of muscle tension and energy units. After all, eliminating the causes, you can cope with the consequences.

The reason for the increase in muscle tension in people is constant mental and emotional stress. Conduct a self-diagnosis ... Reflect, the mind and body are a single whole, each character trait of a person has a corresponding physical pose.

The character is expressed in the body in the form of muscle rigidity (excessive muscle tension, from lat. Rigidus - hard) or muscular carapace.

Chronic stress blocks the energy flows that underlie strong emotions;

Blocked emotions cannot be expressed and form specific clusters of memories with a strong emotional charge of the same quality, which contain condensed experiences and related fantasies from different periods of a person's life.

Elimination of muscle clamp releases significant energy, which manifests itself in the form of a feeling of warmth or cold, tingling, itching, or emotional recovery. Purposefulness is a state of modern man.

The imposed ideals of material well-being and comfort, the conditions for their achievement, focus on the final result, and not on life at the moment - keep people in constant tension. Hence muscle clamps> spasm of blood vessels> first-degree hypertension, osteochondrosis, peptic ulcer and much more.

Everything else is secondary.

The function of the muscle carapace is protection against displeasure. However, the body pays for this protection by reducing its ability to enjoy.

Muscular carapace is formed in seven conditional segments consisting of muscles and organs. These segments are located in the eyes, mouth, neck, chest, diaphragm, abdomen and pelvis.

The elimination of muscle clamps is achieved through:

Accumulation of energy in the body;

Direct effect on chronic muscle blocks (massage);

Expression of freed emotions, which are revealed in this case;

Spontaneous movements, dance therapy, relaxation exercises, yoga, qigong, holotropic breathing, etc.

1. The eyes. The protective shell is manifested in the immobility of the forehead and the "empty" expression of the eyes, which are, as it were, viewed from behind the motionless mask. Blooming is done by opening the eyes as wide as possible to engage the eyelids and forehead; gymnastics for the eyes.

2. Mouth. This segment includes the muscle groups of the chin, throat and neck. The jaw can be either too tight or unnaturally relaxed. The segment holds the expression of crying, screaming, anger. You can relieve muscle tension by simulating crying, lip movements, biting, grimacing, and massaging the muscles of the forehead and face.

3. The neck. Includes deep neck muscles and tongue. The muscle block mainly holds anger, screaming and crying. A direct effect on the muscles deep in the neck is impossible, therefore screaming, singing, gagging, protruding the tongue, tilting and rotating the head, etc. can eliminate muscle clamping.

4. Thoracic segment: broad muscles of the chest, muscles of the shoulders, shoulder blades, chest and arms. It restrains laughter, sadness, passion. Holding your breath is a means of suppressing any emotion. The shell dissolves in the work on breathing, especially the complete exhalation.

5. Aperture. This segment includes the diaphragm, solar plexus, internal organs, and vertebral muscles of this level. The shell is expressed in the curvature of the spine forward. Exhaling is more difficult than inhaling (as in bronchial asthma). The muscle block holds strong anger. You need to dissolve the first four segments to a large extent before moving on to dissolving this.

6. Belly. The muscles of the abdomen and muscles of the back. Lumbar muscle tension is associated with fear of attack. Muscle clamps on the sides are associated with suppression of anger, hostility. The opening of the shell in this segment is relatively easy if the upper segments are already open.

7. Taz. The last segment includes all the muscles of the pelvis and lower extremities. The stronger the muscle spasm, the more the pelvis is pulled back. The gluteal muscles are tense and painful. Pelvic carapace serves to suppress excitement, anger, pleasure.

Muscle Clamp Sectors:

NECK ZONE The neck is a very important area, a kind of both a barrier and a bridge between the conscious (head) and the unconscious (body). The rationality inherent in Western culture sometimes makes us rely too much on our own mind. According to studies that study how people perceive their body, the size of the head in the internal representation occupies an average of 40-60% of body size (whereas objectively, anatomically - about 12%).

Such a “distortion” is caused by excessive mental activity, incessant “mental chatter”, giving the feeling that the head is full, and it is impossible to recover or relax. At the same time, the texts generated by the head “do not reach” the body, and the body is simply ignored by consciousness - a situation of “isolation” arises, a kind of “head of Professor Dowell.” In this case, it is important to focus the client’s attention on the signals supplied by the body so that thoughts connect with sensations.

There is also the opposite version of the “cervical barrier”: sensations in the body exist and are quite bright, but they are not interpreted, they do not reach the level of awareness. This situation is characterized by various pains of a psychosomatic genesis, paresthesia, etc., the causes of which a person does not understand.

NARROW ZONE It is localized in the area of the jugular notch and is associated with the blocking of emotions. It reflects the problems of interaction with other people (communication) or with oneself (authenticity). Such a block can occur if a person finds himself in a situation where it is impossible to admit to himself any unpleasant truth or to do something that threatens to violate his identity (“if I do this, it will not be me”).

Also in this zone is reflected the impossibility, the ban on recognizing some important truths (that is, the ban on pronouncing a significant text or the ban on certain actions: “if I say this / do it, it will not be me”). Long-existing problems in this area threaten the development of thyroid diseases, asthma, bronchopulmonary disorders.

MIDDLE OF THE BREAST BONE This area is located behind the protruding bone of the sternum, below the jugular notch, and the offense zone is localized in it. Subjectively, sensations here can be perceived as a lump, ball, clot, "stone on the heart." In this case, the pericardial canal is overloaded, and cardiac disorders occur. A person with such a problem is also characterized by a specific facial expression - pronounced nasolabial folds, lowered corners of the lips - all this develops into a mask of distrust of the world, resentment.

BREAST CENTER According to the Eastern tradition, in the middle of the chest at the level of the heart is the heart chakra, anahata - the focus of love and emotional openness to the world. If there is no place for love in a person’s life, then another basic feeling arises - longing, which causes a pulling, sucking sensation in this area. Customers can also describe it as the presence of stale, compressed, cold, dark "substance." The defeat of this zone, as a rule, is associated with large-scale psychological injuries received in childhood, primarily with the coldness of parents, child abandonment, etc.

DIAPHRAGMAL ZONE Captures the diaphragmatic muscle zone and epigastric region. In body-oriented therapy, this area is associated with blocking, a ban on the expression of any emotions - both good and bad. Fears of financial distress and social maladaptation are also rooted here. When working with this zone, retraction may be felt even with a voluminous abdomen. The tension here is similar to the sensation after a blow “under the breath” - breathing becomes less deep, emotions “cry”, cry, laugh.

The protective reaction of the body to the formation of clamp (which is associated with stagnation of blood, lymph, etc.) is often the formation of a fat pad. Also, there are often psychosomatic stomach ulcers, liver problems (in China, the liver was considered a source of anger), gall bladder. The clamp in the diaphragmatic zone is characteristic of people who seek to control everything, to keep it in themselves. Typical for them are such turns of speech as “I can’t solve it myself,” “I have to pay for all the pleasures,” etc. Such people also tend to constantly discuss what is happening, generate mental constructions, and see life through the prism of schemes.

LOCAL AREA This is a zone of fear, which corresponds to the so-called "Reich belt", including the projection of the kidneys. The Chinese called the kidneys “a cemetery of emotions” and a source of cold. After working in this zone (and long “squeezing” movements are used here), the client can feel the redistribution of cold over the body.

Pelvic clamp From the back is the area of the sacrum, buttocks, iliac crests, in front - the lower abdomen and inner thighs. Reich linked the pelvic clamp to blocked sexuality. If as a result of sexual life there is no deep discharge, giving a sense of integrity, then there is a deep spasticity, fat, stagnation in the pelvic area.

In the presence of a pelvic clamp, many techniques for working with fatty deposits are ineffective, because, as already mentioned, they are formed as a protective reaction of the body. Frontal clamp - (neurosthenic helmet), with constant, prolonged stress, general overwork.

Jaw clamp - the jaw clenches (aggression)

Neck area - degeneracy - concentration of sensations, ambivalence, duality.

Chest clamp - Bronchitis, asthma, the zone of conflict between want and need.

The middle of the chest is a zone of resentment.

Diaphragmatic clamp - blocks emotions (keeps everything in itself, a zone of psychosis).

Fear Zone - Fear affects the kidneys and bladder.

Pelvic clamp - Lower abdomen, gluteal muscles.

Surely, each of you noticed that the facial expressions of some people are mobile, active, a smile often shines on your face, and if a person is sad, then this is understandable without words: the corners of the eyes are down, the nasolabial folds are clearly visible, the chin trembles. For others, the face, like a motionless mask, does not express absolutely no emotions. This is due to the absence or presence of muscle clamps and blocks that form a kind of "carapace". And we are talking here not only about facial expressions, but also about head landing, position of the diaphragm, gait, posture. If you do not learn how to remove muscle clamps, you can turn into a neurotic with mental rigidity.

Muscle clamps of the face, neck and back according to the theory of Reich

All our experiences — anger, sadness, joy, and fear — whether we like it or not, find expression in our characteristic muscular movements. Negative emotions can form a “muscle carapace”, the task of which is to restrain the manifestations of negative experiences, to prevent it from spreading due to the expected social condemnation. The three main human motives - anger, anxiety and sexual desire - form as a result of their suppression chronic muscle clamps-shells, depriving a person of a normal and happy life. A neurotic person with mental rigidity can always be distinguished by physical rigidity - by the stiffness of poses and movements that accompany a small spectrum of expressed emotions. For the first time, the Austrian psychologist Wilhelm Reich began to deal with this issue. He revealed a number of interesting patterns. According to Reich's theory, there are several muscle clamps.

Face. Muscular clamping of the face at eye level is manifested in the "empty" expression of the eyes and a fixed forehead. It is eliminated by a circular movement of the eyes in different directions and by widening the eyes. The clip "holds" un cried tears. Muscle clamp at the level of the mouth includes the area of the chin, throat, jaw and neck. At the level of this segment manifestations of crying, anger, indignation can be held. The carapace can be removed by imitating these emotions through appropriate movements and pronouncing crying sounds.

Neck. Muscle clamp in the neck keeps screaming, anger, crying. It is eliminated using the same exercises as the previous one.

Back and chest. At the level of this segment, the muscles of not only the chest, but also the shoulders, shoulder blades, and arms are involved. Holding your breath is one of the most common ways to regulate a negative emotional state. Here feelings of anger, sadness, suppressed passion are held. Muscular clamping of the back and chest can be eliminated both through training in the skills of rational, abdominal breathing, and through targeted relaxation.

What other clamps are in the body

What else are the clamps in the body according to the theory of William Reich?

Diaphragm. The segment includes internal organs - stomach, liver, kidneys. Muscle clamp in the diaphragm holds strong anger. The weakening of the carapace is associated with the activation of the gag reflex, since in people with a similar clamp it is practically absent.

Stomach. A muscle clamp in the stomach holds emotions of fear and repressed anger.

Taz.The segment includes the muscles of not only the pelvis, but also the legs. Muscular clamping of the pelvis holds the drive of sexual arousal and anger. The stronger the clamp, the more the pelvis is pulled back, which makes it possible to identify people with this clamp by the characteristic mincing gait and predict character traits - irritability, anger. This is due to the inability to experience sexual satisfaction. Sexual aspirations are considered by the individual as vicious and base, and their suppression automatically leads him to anger.

How to relax and remove facial muscle clamps

Various measures may be suitable for relaxing muscle clamps or preventing their occurrence. For example, general massage, a bathhouse, dances (ballroom, "oriental", modern, any), breathing exercises, sports exercises will help to remove muscle clamps. Also, to get rid of the clamps, any motor activity, accompanied by a variety of movements, is suitable.

To begin with, try to perform several exercises for emancipation and removing the clamps on your face, and you will see how your mood, self-awareness, and attitude of others around you will change. If you have a benevolent, calm outlook on the world, then people cease to strain and strain, communicating with you, because emotions are often “contagious”.

One of the effective ways to relax muscle clamps is to massage facial points:

1. Points on the forehead between the eyebrows (“third eye”).

2. Points along the edges of the wings of the nose (paired).

3. Points on the midline of the face on the lower jaw between the lower lip and the upper edge of the chin.

4. Points in the temporal fossa at the eyebrows (paired).

5. Points just above the hairline on the back of the head, in the fossa at the outer edge of the trapezius muscle.

6. Points between the external auditory meatus and the edge of the mandibular joint in the ear tragus.

Massage is performed with the fingertips, strictly upright, without rubbing, with medium strength.

Another method to remove muscle clamps is to massage the auricles:

1. Sipping the auricle from the ear canal up.

2. Sipping earlobes from top to bottom.

3. Sipping the middle part of the auricle from the ear canal to the outside.

4. Circular movements of the ears in both directions with the palms of the hands. Press your palms firmly to your ears, creating a feeling of vacuum, and make circular movements in both directions. Suddenly tear off the palms until the ear pops (this should not be done for those who have a damaged or missing eardrum).

Massage of the auricles is performed 15-20 times with moderate force.

How to independently remove muscle eye clips

Before you independently remove the muscle clamps of the eyes, create a calm, pacifying atmosphere, it is advisable to remain alone with yourself when performing these exercises.

1. Vertical movements (up and down); slowly make eye movements to the top of the head and to the area.

2. Horizontal eye movements (left-right), trying to look a little further behind.

3. "Butterfly" - we turn our eyes to the lower left corner - to the upper right corner - to the lower right corner - to the upper left corner, and in reverse order.

4. "Eight" - draw with our eyes a horizontal figure eight, or infinity sign.

5. "Strabismus".We look at the tip of the nose, then forward; on the nose - forward and sideways; to the point between the eyebrows - forward and sideways.

6. The Big Circle. Imagine a large gold dial and slowly look from one digit to another in both directions. Gradually increase the radius of the circle.

All exercises are performed effortlessly, without tension, in a relaxed atmosphere; don't squint and open your eyes too wide. After each exercise, relax your eyes, blinking them often, often, easily, easily.

Exercises for loosening and removing facial clamps

It is recommended to do these exercises for removing muscle clamps and emancipation in the morning in order to “warm up the face” and in the evening in order to “erase the negative”.

1. "The mask of surprise." Performed sitting or standing, preferably in front of a mirror. Simultaneously with a slow breath, raise eyebrows, as an astonished person does. On a free exhale, lower the eyebrows.

2. The mask of anger. Frowning eyebrows, tighten lips, inflate nose wings. Muscle effort builds up gradually, simultaneously with a slow breath. During free exhalation, the muscles are released from tension.

3. "Squeamish mask." Lower the corners of the mouth, squeeze the mouth, the muscles of the chin are tense.

4. "Trumpeter mask." Performing the exercise, one should not only inflate the cheeks, but also strain the muscles. The mouth is tightly compressed, the circular muscle of the mouth is tense.

5. Eye exercise. It is carried out sitting. On a slow breath, lower the upper eyelids, first easily, then with gradually increasing effort. Then close your eyes tightly.

6. "The mask of laughter."Inhale slowly. The corners of the mouth should be lifted up as much as possible, the eyes will squint, the mouth will open slightly, exposing the teeth (two fingers should fit between the upper and lower). Hold the breath. Now quickly exhale and relax the muscles of the face.

7. The sound is "eh." It is performed standing. The movement of the tongue is imitated while pronouncing the sound “eh”: the tongue is pressed against the roots of the upper teeth at the border with the hard palate. Mouth ajar. Slow inhalation - gradual exertion, free exhalation - relax.

Exercises are done 7-10 times, slowly, while breathing in, the muscles tighten, while breathing out they relax.

Muscle clamps are an extremely unpleasant phenomenon, which creates serious discomfort, and in an advanced state causes unbearable pain. Faced with such unpleasant sensations, a person, as a rule, begins to massage the painful area, rub it with warming ointments, take painkillers, or even inject injections, but all these measures do not solve the problem and unbearable pain returns again after a short time. To solve this problem once and for all, you need to deal with the cause of the clamps in the muscles and learn how to properly get rid of them.

What is muscle clamp

In fact, a muscle clamp, as well as a block, spasm, or muscle carapace, is a muscle or a group of muscles that cannot completely relax and is constantly in tension. As a rule, it is hypertrophied, blood passes through it more and more difficult, and the efficiency of such a muscle is steadily declining. Moreover, the clamped muscle "stiffens", interfering with the functioning of the whole organism and often causing severe pain with each movement.

Typically, a rare person with this problem rushes to the doctor or begins to look for the root of the problem. In most cases, he gets used to discomfort and pain, continuing to maintain the existing muscle clamp for months and even years. The result is flat feet, curvature of the spine, varicose veins and other serious diseases, up to compression of the internal organs.

Causes of muscle clamps

You will be surprised, but the cause of muscle blocks lies in the plane of psychosomatics. This theory was first expressed by a student of Wolf Messing and the founder of the school of psychoanalysis, an Austrian psychologist Wilhelm Reich. Based on the principle that our body is a mirror of human psychological problems, V. Reich concluded that any psychological conflict in the human body remains peculiar marks in the form of muscle stiffness and muscle stiffness.

In simple terms, not being able to control your emotions or not wanting to show them to others, a person simply suppresses them in himself, causing chronic tension of certain muscle groups. That is, muscle clamping is nothing but a protective reaction of the body to negative feelings.

This theory is also confirmed by reviews of patients of Wilhelm Reich, who admitted that in childhood and adolescence they quietly learned to suppress their fear, aggression, anger or love, holding their breath, straining their abdominal muscles, “wringing” their wrists, fingers, mournful grimaces and other actions that have a negative effect on body functions. And if you repeat these actions regularly, for ten or even twenty years, muscle blocks will certainly arise, and after them psychosomatic diseases.

There are many examples of muscle clamps. The habit of smiling, while we do not experience joyful emotions, causes the appearance of facial wrinkles, and leads to visual impairment. Fear makes you hold your breath, causes tremors of your hands, or makes you pull your head into your shoulders, provoking stiff muscles in the cervical-collar zone. And even hard work, based on the desire to achieve its goal, compresses the body like a spring, leading to muscle stiffness and the formation of the so-called “muscle carapace”. Tense muscles squeeze blood vessels, which is why organs get less nutrients. All this leads to metabolic disorders, decreased immunity and various diseases, ranging from osteochondrosis and hypertension, and ending with varicose veins, peptic ulcer disease and deformation of internal organs.

How to get rid of muscle clamps

Unfortunately, modern medicine solves the problem of muscle clamping with drugs and massage, not taking into account the fact that this is a psychological anomaly. As a result, a long course of restoring muscle mobility often turns into wasted time and money "thrown away" for drugs. But how then to eradicate the problem of clamps and remove the wrong approach to the use of muscle?

The best way to get rid of muscle clamps and relax the muscle shell is the method of Wilhelm Reich. According to the theory of the famous psychoanalyst, the muscle carapace includes 7 segments, consisting of muscles and organs. Only by “dismissing” all 7 segments from the eyes to the pelvis can this complex problem called muscle clamp be resolved.

Consider the technique of William Reich, which allows you to rid the body of muscle clamps.

Seven main segments

1. Eyes

Muscle blocking in the eye segment is manifested by the immobility of the forehead and the “wax” face, like a mask. As a rule, it is formed as a result of containment of resentment. It can be dissolved through gymnastics for the eyes, as well as with the help of a strong opening of the eyes. The main thing is that eyelids and forehead are involved in these exercises.

The segment under consideration extends to the muscles of the throat and chin, as well as to the back of the head. For example, a person may experience pain in the jaw muscles caused by the systematic restraint of anger, crying, or screaming. To remove the existing muscle block, you need to simulate crying, make faces, bite, perform various movements with your lips, not forgetting the regular massage of the face and frontal area.

3. Neck

The neck segment covers the muscles of the tongue and neck. As with the mouth segment, the clamp in this area is the result of pent-up anger, crying, or screaming. To remove this clamp, you need to tilt your head and rotate it in one and the other direction, stick out your tongue, scream and sing.

4. Chest

The thoracic segment will include the arms, shoulders, as well as the muscles of the shoulder blades and broad pectoral muscles. Muscle problems in this area can occur if you constantly hold your breath, which can be a reaction to restraining any emotions, such as resentment, anger, crying or fear. Any breathing exercises will help dissolve such a block.

5. Aperture

The diaphragm segment oversees the solar plexus, myocardium, muscles of the lungs and other internal organs, as well as the spinal muscles enveloping the spinal column at this level. According to Reich's theory, a clamp in this area can be triggered by holding your breath in an attempt to hold on to intense anger. This is one of the most difficult clamps, which, like the previous one, is removed through breathing exercises, but only after all the other clamps in the body have opened.

6. Belly

This should include the muscles of the back and abdomen. Tension, and subsequently blocking of muscle tissue in this area, arises from fear of attack, or because of anger and hostility. These cramps are eliminated independently, but only if the clamps are relaxed in all other segments.

7. Taz

This includes all the muscles of the hip joint and lower limbs. Moreover, the stronger the block, the more the pelvis will be stretched back. As practice shows, clamps in this segment appear most often and bring the most painful sensations. Such clamps occur in case of excitement, anger or pleasure. You can cope with the block in this segment through yoga.

Developing fossilized muscles in the right segment, you will quickly bring the body back to normal, get rid of pain, feel light, prevent numerous diseases and can fully enjoy life without fear of expressing your emotions. Remember, getting rid of the clamps, you will stop spending energy on maintaining the "fossilized" muscles, which means you will increase the tone of the body, you will be able to relax and feel the harmony of body and soul. Health to you!

 • clamping of internal organs;
 • flat feet;
 • curvature of the spinal column.

The theory is confirmed by reviews of many patients of Reich. They admitted that in their youthful years they suppressed aggression and other emotions, holding their breath, twisting their hands, by tensioning the abdominal muscles and other actions. With their regular repetition for 10-20 years, muscle blocks will be inevitable, and psychosomatic disorders will follow.

There are many examples where people cause muscle clamps with their actions. For example, the habit of smiling without joyful emotions causes facial wrinkles and even impairs vision. Fear forces one to hold one’s breath, causing hand tremors and helping to pull the head into the shoulders. Against this background, rigidity of the muscles of the cervical-collar part will occur.

If you work hard, trying to achieve certain goals, the body may shrink as a cause. This will cause stiffness of the muscles and lead to the appearance of muscle carapace. Blocks squeeze blood vessels, and internal organs cease to receive nutrients in the right amount. This contributes to metabolic disorders, weakened immunity and various diseases, including hypertension, which we have already covered on our website, etc.

Clinical manifestations of blocks

The muscle block always causes pains that are sharp, aching and unbearable. Sometimes they suddenly arise, and at other times they gradually increase, making themselves known in advance. Manifesting in a certain area, the adjacent muscle group can be affected by pain. For example, after some time, large areas of your body begin to hurt and it will be more difficult to solve the problem.

Overstretched muscles do not allow the body with limbs to function normally or limit their mobility. A spasm of several muscle groups can lead to immobility, shortness of breath and other troubles.

Thus, muscle clamp becomes a signal about the defeat of the body in one place or another. Often, such spasms lead to a violation of the water-electrolyte balance. Also, muscle blocks can confirm the instability of the psycho-emotional sphere. Be that as it may, muscle clamping, like pain, is an important symptom that cannot be ignored. You need to contact the doctor with the first unpleasant sensations when moving and try to identify the real cause of the violation.

What are muscle blocks harmful to?

As already mentioned, spasmodic muscles in different parts of the body can be dangerous. They compress blood vessels and compress nerve endings. This begins the process of disruption of energy-informational metabolism and tissue nutrition. For example, in the cervical zone the vagus nerve is usually compressed, along which impulses to the pancreas cease to pass. This violates the innervation of the internal organ, leading to enzymatic disorders in the digestive tract.

A dangerous consequence of the neuromuscular block is also that the spasmodic muscle is contracted, therefore it consumes valuable ATP. Thus, the body spends excess energy to maintain muscle tension, which is not useful.

Given that the muscle block sometimes holds tension in large areas, and this lasts long enough, energy costs can be incredibly large by the standards of the human body.

In what areas do muscle blocks occur?

Clips can occur in different parts of the body, leading to different deviations in this zone. Specialists practicing in the field of body-oriented therapy most often have to deal with muscle blocks in the following places:

Eyes. Block in the eye area is usually manifested by a lack of mobility in the forehead. There is an effect of a wax face, like a mask on it. Such a block is formed usually due to frequent containment of resentment, and to normalize the situation, gymnastics for the eyes or their wide opening is required. The essence of exercises in the forehead and eyelids.

Mouth area. Muscle blocks often cover the muscles of the chin and throat, and also go to the back of the head. For example, jaw pain can occur due to constant containment of crying, anger, etc. To relieve such tension, you need to make grimaces, imitate crying and move your lips, additionally do facial massage.

Neck. Blocks can affect the deep muscles of the neck as well as the tongue. As in the previous case, spasm occurs as a result of restraining anger, screaming and other similar emotions. To eliminate the clamp, you need to perform tilting the head in different directions, rotation and other movements. Crying and regular singing also help.

Chest area. The chest also refers to areas affected by muscle blocks. This segment includes the shoulders, arms, pectoral muscles, and shoulder blades. Violations are possible due to the constant holding of breath while suppressing all kinds of emotions, be it anger, resentment, crying or fright. All kinds of breathing movements will help dissolve the spasm.

Aperture part. Myocardium, lungs and other organs fall into this area. Spasm in this area can be caused by frequent holding of breath in an effort to restrain anger. This clamp is considered one of the most difficult to remove which is needed.

Abdomen It includes the muscles of the abdomen and back. Strain of the abdominal muscles with the subsequent block occurs when there is a fear of attack or because of a feeling of anger. You can fight these spasms on your own using a special exercise. To perform this exercise, you need to alternately strain and relax the abdominal muscles, raise your arms up, stretching your torso, and make upper body turns to the sides.

Pelvic area. This area includes the hip muscles of the hip and leg muscles. The stronger the block and the larger the affected muscle group, the stronger the pelvis will shift back. Practice proves that blocks in this zone are the most common and bring maximum discomfort. They appear with excessive excitement, anger and pleasure. Yoga clips help to remove the clamps.

Ways to fight muscle blocks

Doctors who understand body-oriented psychotherapy recommend conservative muscle blocking. They mainly include physical therapy, yoga, sports. It is also important to learn how to properly express and, if necessary, control your own emotions.

In advanced cases, treatment is not complete without a non-depolarizing muscle relaxant. With their help, they quickly get rid of discomfort, removing any pain. We do not recommend you to self-medicate with frequent muscle blocks - an appropriate course of therapy should be prescribed. It is important to identify the exact cause of the violation, after which the doctor will give useful recommendations.

You can get rid of superficial muscle clamps by auto-training, and fight with deep blocks using the technique of holotropic breathing. Also useful are breathing exercises and. Sometimes you have to turn to a therapist who understands the internal causes of muscle clamps and eliminates them.
