For them, there is no regulated working day, days off with the possibility of going outside the part. Young contract soldiers, like conscripts, are attracted to the so-called "workers" (the use of physical labor of military personnel for the arrangement of places of deployment and economic work). Well, the contractors who have experience behind their backs and knew more worthy conditions of service, finding themselves in such conditions, by all means, even falling under the unpopular wording in the personal file on the NUK (violation of the terms of the contract), are trying to break out of this grip of lies and lawlessness. All this is expressed in a high turnover of personnel: some contract soldiers who have served only a couple of months are looking for the possibility of transferring to other units or are being retired. All this negatively affects the combat readiness of the units of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division, which those who quit the contract are often called a "showy division" intended for reviews and parades, in fact, incapable of performing combat missions.

The situation is somewhat better with the arrangement of officers and old-time conscripts (warrant officers, foremen) of the 150th division, who are allocated service apartments or monetary compensation for renting housing near the duty station. The well-being of officers, warrant officers and foremen is also ensured through corruption schemes and profit, including by collecting tribute from conscripts "for the economic needs" of units. Money drips into the pockets of commanders of all stripes from periodic "sales" of material property and fuel to the side. So, for example, the vaunted autonomous tent camp of one of the SMEs is not ventilated in the 40-degree heat, since the diesel fuel allocated for it was sold by officers and warrant officers. The new 150th motorized rifle division has begun to defend Russia's borders in the south of the country, Russian Defense Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu said yesterday.

According to him, the first military town of the compound was erected in a short time thanks to new construction technologies, TASS reports.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense reported that on December 1, 2016, the motorized rifle division, formed by the 150th Idritsko-Berlin Order of Kutuzov, 2nd degree, will begin routine combat training. The division will include motorized rifle, tank, artillery, anti-aircraft missile regiments, as well as communications, reconnaissance and logistics units. The main armament of the division will be modern models of military equipment - T-90A tanks, armored vehicles, etc.

Technical reference

T-90A has been in service with the Russian army since 2004. Its production is deployed at Uranlvagonzavod. To date, the Russian army has at least 400 T-90 units. India has an even larger number of T-90s - 700 units, 185 T-90s are in service with the Algerian army, and 44 - with the Ugandan army.

The T-90A is a modernized version of the T-90 and differs from it in its engine, turret and thermal imaging equipment.

The T-90A is equipped with an engine of the B-92C model, which is an upgraded B-84 and differs from it in the installation of a turbocharger and an improved design, which made it possible to increase the power developed by the engine to 1000 hp. with. (736 kW) at 2000 rpm.

The tank is also protected from cumulative ammunition attacking the tank from above (for example, aviation and artillery anti-tank submunitions). Elements of dynamic protection are also installed on the side rubber-fabric screens (three, and later - four blocks from each side).

The turret of the T-90A tank, which is structurally a development of the T-72B turret, is cast. Its frontal part has combined armor protection. Aft has a small round pallet ejection hatch. In front of the tower, seven blocks and one DZ container are mounted. Another 20 DZ blocks are located on the roof of the tower.

Advanced scientific and technical solutions were embodied in the design of the modernized T-90A tank. The combination of combat and technical characteristics allows the crew to conduct combat operations in various climatic and weather conditions, at any time of the day and achieve success in various types of modern ground combat.

A new motorized rifle division began to defend the southern borders of the country. It will be stationed in the Rostov region and bear the name of the 150 Idritsko-Berlin division, the soldiers who hoisted the Victory Banner over the Reichstag more than 70 years ago.

The very same banner that went down in history as the Victory Banner. Its original is annually carried out on Red Square on May 9. The flag belongs to the legendary division that successfully completed the Berlin offensive. She took part in hostilities, including on the territory of the Rostov region: in the defense of Taganrog and on the outskirts of Rostov. It ceased to exist in 1946. It was decided to revive the division with a rich military history after 70 years.

“Now, of course, we can talk about the continuity of those heroic traditions, those victories on the battlefields that were achieved by the servicemen of this division,” notes Viktor Ushakov, head of the Don history department at the Rostov Regional Museum of Local Lore.

Leaving the number, honorary title and military award of the illustrious predecessor - this was discussed in the Russian Ministry of Defense back in the spring, and now, according to the assurances in the Southern Military District, plans are being actively implemented.

The newly formed one will bear the name of the 150 Idritsko-Berlin Order of Kutuzov of the second degree of the motorized rifle division. The military unit of district subordination is now deployed near Novocherkassk. It was placed in three military garrisons of the Rostov region and adjacent training grounds. Thanks to new construction technologies, the first military camp of the compound was erected in a short time.

The division will be located at three training grounds: Kuzminsky, Millerovsky and Kadamovsky. The infrastructure of the military town of the new motorized rifle unit was built from scratch. The new two-three-storey buildings house the reconnaissance battalion, the communications battalion and the division headquarters. The servicemen have already settled in the hostels. Construction work in the garrison continues. They plan to fully equip the territory by May.

“The town that is being built makes it possible for soldiers and sergeants to feel comfortable. These are hostels with separate cockpits with hot water, showers, washing machines, microwave ovens, tea rooms. All this makes it possible to feel at home, "- says the deputy commander of the troops in the Southern Military District Andrei Burulev.

Field exits, says the deputy commander, have already begun, the new academic year for the military started on December 1. But first, the servicemen take part in training and methodological meetings. In a solemn atmosphere, weapons are assigned to personnel. The YuVO plans to increase the number of training sessions.

Including the tasks of manning contract servicemen, there are almost half of the total composition of the division. On the territory of the new military camp, selection points have been opened, among those wishing to join the new unit Konstantin Semin. He took part in counter-terrorist operations in Chechnya. He considers moving to a new place of residence fateful, it is an honor for Konstantin to be in the division.

“I feel pride for the country when I see this division being revived. She once reached Berlin. Part of the wonderful, walked around, looked at everything. The barracks are ideal ”, - Konstantin Semin shares his impressions.

The division will consist of six regiments, three of them - motorized rifle, as well as tank, anti-aircraft missile and self-propelled artillery. By the end of next year, according to the deputy commander, new motorized rifle and tank regiments will be formed. Modern military equipment is used to protect the southern borders of the country. T-90A tanks, armored vehicles BMP-3 and BTR-80 will be the main armament of the division.

History of the 150th division of the first formation

Formed in September 1943 on the basis of the 151st separate rifle brigade, the 127th cadet and 144th.
Initially included in the 34th Army. Then, as part of the 6th Guards Army and the 3rd Shock Army, she covered the battle path from Nevel to Berlin.
By order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief No. 207 of 23 July 1944, the 150th division was named Idritskaya for the liberation of the village of Idritsa.
By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 26, 1945, the 150th Infantry Division was awarded the Order of Kutuzov, II degree, for a night battle at Lake Woschwanzee.
On April 22, 1945, during the Berlin offensive, the division received from the Military Council of the 3rd Shock Army one of the nine special banners intended for hoisting over the Reichstag. During the battle for the Reichstag, the assault flag of the 150th division was installed over the main entrance to the building by Lieutenant Rakhimzhan Koshkarbaev and Private Grigory Bulatov. Subsequently, similar banners were installed in different parts of the building, including the Victory Banner, erected on the dome of the Reichstag by the soldiers of the 756th rifle regiment of the division: Alexei Berest, Mikhail Yegorov and Meliton Kantaria. The abbreviated name of the division is indicated on the Victory Banner.
By order of the Supreme Command of June 11, 1945, the division was named "Berlin".
