Moscow Technological Institute "VTU" (former name: UNESCO World Technological University) is a higher education institution created in 2010 to unite international, national and regional efforts to further develop and improve the system of continuous technological education. This is the only university in the Russian Federation created under the auspices of UNESCO to implement the orders of the Government Russian Federation dated January 6, 1997 No. 13-r. This UNESCO project aims to internationalize training in the field of high technologies throughout the world. The goal of MIT “VTU” is to ensure the integration of the efforts of the best universities to disseminate knowledge and high technologies, as well as ensure accessibility of education.
Within the structure of VTU, 2 faculties, 13 departments and 71 departments operate in 64 areas of personnel training. There are cooperation agreements with 82 Russian universities, including MSTU. Bauman, REU im. G.V. Plekhanov and others. MIT branches operate in all major cities Russia, including Vladivostok, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Orenburg, St. Petersburg, Ufa and Khabarovsk. Training is carried out not only in Russia, but also in other countries of the world: three representative offices have been opened in the CIS - in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
