An excerpt characterizing Bugaev, Vitaly Anatolyevich

- Dad! Daddy ... Daddy !!! - and threw herself on his neck ... Or rather, she tried to throw herself ... Because she, like her mother, could no longer physically touch him in this world again.
- Fox ... my baby ... my joy ... - repeated, still grabbing the emptiness, father. - Don't go, just please don't go! ...
He literally “choked” with emotions too strong for his aching heart. And then I got scared that this unexpected, almost inhuman happiness could simply kill him ... But the situation (just in time!) Was defused by the forgotten, but not forgotten anyone, hissing and furious "monsters" ... To my shame, " hypnotized "by the beauty of the meeting, I completely forgot about them! .. Now, having changed their" tactics "and no longer attacking their father, they found it more convenient to satisfy their eternal" hunger "and get enough of the life force of the child - little Westa ... Arthur in in complete panic he waved his arms, trying to protect his daughter, but naturally he was not able to harm anyone. The situation was completely out of control and too quickly began to take a very undesirable turn for me. It was necessary to get rid of all this fanged-clawed-hissing horror as soon as possible, and even so that she could never return to this poor man again ...
- Think, think, think! .. - I shouted to myself almost out loud.
And suddenly, as in a bright flash, I very clearly saw a "picture" of my body glowing with a blinding green color, and my old "star friends", who, smiling, pointed at this green light ... Apparently somehow my "panicking "The brain managed to call them from somewhere, and now they tried to" prompt "me in their own way what I should do. Without thinking for a long time, I closed my eyes and tried to concentrate, trying to mentally invoke a long-forgotten sensation ... And literally in a split second, everything “flashed” with the same amazingly bright green light that I had just seen in the “picture” shown by my friends. My body shone so strongly that it lit up almost the entire room, along with the vile creatures swarming in it. I wasn't sure what to do next, but I felt that I had to direct this "light" (or more precisely, energy) on all those wriggling "horror movies" in order to make them disappear from our field of vision as soon as possible, as well as, from and without them quite complicated, Arthur's life. The room flashed green, and I felt a very "thick" green ray burst out of my palms and went straight to the target ... Immediately I heard a wild screech that turned into a real "otherworldly" howl ... I almost had time to be glad that finally everything would be good, and they will disappear forever right now, but, as it turned out, it was still a little far from the “happy ending” ... The creatures convulsively clung to their claws and paws, still waving their hands to the “daddy” and the baby struggling from them, and so far they were clearly not going to give up. I realized that West's second "attack" would no longer stand, and by the same token I would lose my only chance to talk to my father for the last time. But this, just something, I could not allow. Then I gathered myself once more and, with all my strength, "hurled" green rays now at all "monsters" at the same time. Something slammed loudly ... and there was complete silence. ›

Vitaly A. Bugaev (1969-2000) - senior police sergeant, participant in the first and second Chechen wars, Hero of the Russian Federation (2000).

Biography

Vitaly Bugaev was born on September 30, 1969 in the city of Cherkessk, Stavropol Territory. Together with his family he moved to Vorkuta, where he graduated from high school and was drafted into the army. Since June 1995 - in the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. After a three-month internship, he became an OMON fighter at the Far Eastern ATC. In 1996 he went on his first business trip to the North Caucasus. Since the end of 1997, he has been qualified as a police explosives technician. In December 1999, Bugaev went on a second business trip to the North Caucasus.

On January 9, 2000, numerous separatist gangs approached the Argun railway station and attacked a group of 30 riot police that defended it. Shortly before that, Bugaev and his fellow policemen Nikolai Vinogradov and Vladimir Tamgin went to demining two explosive devices found near the railway bridge over the Argun River. Hearing the sounds of battle, they rushed to the aid of the defenders. On the way, they managed to board a passing BMP-2. However, soon both the BMP and the accompanying T-72 tank were knocked out. Jumping out of the burning car, Bugaev, Vinogradov and Tamgin went to the breakthrough. Bugaev, who was seriously wounded, tried to blow himself up with a grenade, but did not have time, as he was shot at point-blank by the militants. Vinogradov and Tamgin were killed in the same battle. The actions of the three explosives technicians made it possible to draw off significant enemy forces from the station and alleviate the position of the detachment, which held the defense for another two days.

By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation of July 26, 2000, senior police sergeant Vitaly Bugaev was posthumously awarded the high title of Hero of the Russian Federation.

Bugaev Vitaly Anatolievich
30. 9. 1969 - 9. 1. 2000
Hero of Russia

Bugaev Vitaly Anatolyevich - policeman-explosives specialist of OMON at the Far Eastern Department of Internal Affairs, senior police sergeant.
Born on September 30, 1969 in the city of Cherkessk, Stavropol Territory. Russian. Later, his family moved to Vorkuta, where Vitaly, after graduating high school was drafted into the army. He entered the service of the internal affairs bodies in June 1995. After a three-month internship, he became an OMON fighter at the Far Eastern UVD. A year later, he went on his first military mission to the North Caucasus. At the end of 1997, he retrained as a policeman-explosives technician. In December 1999, Vitaly went on a second business trip to the North Caucasus.
Died on January 9, 2000 near the Argun railway station in Chechnya.
The title of Hero of the Russian Federation Vitaly Anatolyevich Bugaev was awarded posthumously on July 26, 2000.
On that fateful day, January 9, 2000, numerous bands of militants approached the Argun station. Shortly before the attack, Bugaev, Vinogradov and senior police sergeant Vladimir Tamgin went to demining two explosive devices found near the railway bridge over the Argun River. When the silence of a winter's day was split by rapid gunfire and the rumble of explosions in the station area, they immediately understood what had happened. The soldiers did not know then that several hundred selected thugs had been thrown against the thirty riot police defending Argun, they did not know that the station was surrounded on all sides, they simply, obeying an instant impulse, rushed to the aid of their comrades.
The roar of engines was heard nearby - two armored vehicles were moving to the rescue of the riot police fighting on Argun: an BMP-2 and a T-72 tank. Explosive technicians also joined the six soldiers sitting in the belly of the BMP. When the station was no more than 500 meters away, reinforcements ran into an ambush by the militants. Heavy fire from all sides. Screen. Explosions. Both cars were hit at once. The BMP caught fire. Riot policemen, jumping out of the flaming car, found themselves in a dense ring of bandits. A fierce firefight ensued. Under cover of the fire of Lieutenant Vinogradov, Bugaev and Tamgin went to the breakthrough. Many of the bandits mowed down the queues of riot police in that battle. But still the forces were too unequal ...
Badly wounded, Vitaly Bugaev continued to shoot back at the advancing bandits. But the militants were getting closer. Already clearly discernible in the haze of gunpowder smoke, the faces of enemies twisted with rage. The end. There is no escape. Allowing the enemy, Vitaly squeezed a grenade in his hand ... He did not manage to pull the pin. A point-blank shot ended the life of the senior sergeant ...
In that battle, Bugaev's comrades Vinogradov and Tamgin, who broke through with him through the ring of bandits, also laid down their heads. The three riot policemen were no longer destined to learn that their heroic breakthrough drew significant forces of militants from the Argun station and eased the situation of the combined detachment, which fought off the fierce attacks of the enemy for another two days.

From an excerpt from the story of Anatoly Mikhailovich Kazakov "The flag stood":
Meanwhile, sappers Nikolai Vinogradov and Vitaly Bugaev persuaded the commander of the motorized rifle platoon that defended the bridge to give them an infantry fighting vehicle and two grenade launchers to help those who defended the outpost. They and seven other soldiers hurried after the tank to our rescue.
Before reaching the station, only three hundred meters, the tank going first came under heavy fire. No sooner had V. Tamgin jumped off the armor than a shot from a grenade launcher hit the place where he was just sitting. The tank turret is jammed. The tankers were concussed. The tank had to return to the bridge. The tank in this short sortie had seven hits from a grenade launcher and one from a hand-held anti-tank flamethrower "Shmel". The BMP following the tank was knocked out by the first shot, which was fired from 30 meters from the private sector.
Vinogradov, Bugaev and seven fighters jumped off the armor of the BMP and took up defensive positions near the place where V. Tamgin was already firing back ...
This fight was short. In the open space, the guys surrounded on all sides fought for two hours, diverting the main forces from the station. Almost all of them died heroically, saving our lives ...
Later locals they said that when the militants approached the lying riot police and one of them bent down, a click of a shot sounded and the militant flew off and fell to the ground. But indeed Nikolai Vinogradov had a VSK-94 rifle with a silencer. This last shot was most likely made by Vinogradov ... And when we already approached the place of death of our comrades, we saw an F-1 grenade in the hands of the deceased Vitaly Bugaev, with a check ready to cocking the fuse ... They fought until the last moment of their lives , only one soldier survived, who managed to hide under a sheet of iron and crawl to the bridge at night ...
